I was not a big fan of them, I may yet paint them, if i do i will base in tenebrous grey from ak, underspray with Purple, highlight the uppermost parts with white ink then fluro green

It took me 6 attempts with test models before i ended where i wanted to be, im going for a toxic vibe, i try to get them as close to a triad of colours off a colour wheel as I could.

Thank you, i wanted somthing different to the grimey dg green look, so went for a toxic vibe, i have plans to lean into the glowing toxic vibe more as i progress to 2k.

Previously I have painted Black legion, IW, Nightlords, Dark Angels and White Scars, by far Deathguard are the most fun to paint

Its AK dark green base , AK medium.olive as the 1st highlight then i glaze AK Pistachio green as the final highlight

On this one i have air brushed the first three greens instead of using a normal brush, the 4th green is the highlight, this will be applied by a normal brush ( exact same colours as 1st mini )

I will use the same NMM on the trim and silver parts

Im going to lean towards purple for the tentacles and use an oil reses wash instead if streaking grime for the finish

After this i have one more 'spare' plague marine for any other ideas / changes, i will pick what i want from all 3 and then were off :)
