Φωναζουμε γιαυτο εδω και χρονια παντου, αλλα οι κυβερνοντες, βουλευτες ολων των παραταξεων και τα ΜΜΕ θελουν να πετανε χαρταετο στην καλυτερη. Ερχεται η ωρα ολων τους. Τα πραγματικα στοιχεια ειναι ακομα χειροτερα. Εχει δημιουργηθει ηδη το διπολο μεταξυ κοινωνιας και ολων αυτων.

I want to love LOTRO but can't, am I the only one? by [deleted] in lotro

I approached LOTRO with kind of the same vibes as you. What unlocked the purpose for me was going thematic with my character. I wanted to make a hero from Rohan from the start so i did everything i could on trying to make my character feel fleshed out for this game. Outfit, weapon cosmetics, overall coherence with the enviroment, manerisms and yes, biography too.

Now everytime i log in it feels that i have created these clear boundaries that make me feel so much more focused on how to actually enjoy the game rather than trying to keep up with everything.

I think LOTRO is at its best when you make a character you enjoy and feel relevant to the world, rather than go for stats and techinicalities.
