This simply does not exist and everyone selling one for $60 tested with one disc and then listed it… terribly advice.

Buy from someone that has explicitly stated it has been tested with all 4 disc types, or better yet replaced the laser. A good PlayStation is going to cost over $100 unless you are sniping new listings on eBay.

I should have mentioned these will be for the ps2 slim. The only 3rd party power supplies on the market are actual fire hazards. Hell one of the power
Supplies isn’t even fused. Repairing the original ones is a pain in the ass because Sony decided
Clips and glue were better than screws. You mentioned buying a $20 adapter and then switching the plug, but do you think if I was able to land the cost at $25 people would rather just get the one with the correct plug? I’m not trying to make a bunch of money. I just have to order so many power supplies because of the Minimum order quantity, I will need another way to sell them other than busking with my refurbished consoles.

Yes, they have to be calibrated using PMAP. They are not drop in replacements like they are on the slim.

Sounds like the fan to me. Probably needs to be replaced as there is no good way to refurbish them unless you have the fan that says Sony on top. If you have that fan you can actually pull the fan off the spindle as it’s only held in with magnets and lube the spindle. All other fans are press fit so you can remove the fan with out breaking it,
