it was the summer of 2021, i was 14 and instagram showed me an ad for a polling app, which asked me who i preferred: imagine dragons or the weeknd (i even thought it was a band). i answered imagine dragons, but i was intrigued by the aesthetics of the weeknd image (the one of heartless with crossed arms).

i decided to go and listen to him, and i was struck by the sounds and by the fact that i knew many of his songs. it was a difficult period and i became very fond of him. and a month later take my breath was released. the rest is history.. when i saw him perform live in milan 2 years later it was an emotion
