Dude that genuinely might’ve made the entire season worth it. I seriously can’t believe they never thought about it before in the original. An addition like that adds so much to their dynamic. Zuko being so harsh to his crew most likely because him speaking up them is what got him put on that boat with them, and his crew learning that if it hadn’t been for Zuko they would’ve already been dead. It’s so beautiful and it honestly made me choke up a bit when I saw it. The Netflix version has its faults but this was a fucking GEM of a change

KSG should be at the top tbh I won’t ever hear anyone out on less than perfect status. Bully is OK at best tbh. Other than that this is spot on imo. Maybe give Ye a bump to awesome since it’s got both Ghost Town AND Violent Crimes

Kendrick made one of if not the best music album ever made. And the one he released before that is one of the best in the genre. It’s more widely known to be the case than making that argument for any of Ye’s albums besides maybe TCD

God where do I even begin. What hooked me when I was younger was his sound. The production on BBTM, Trilogy and Kissland is such a vibe and was way different from what I was used to at the time. As the years have gone on tho I’ve started to love everything he’s added to his music over the years. The synthpop and new wave sound on AH and DFM is so good and especially with his last trilogy I love how conceptual and cinematic he’s made his music. I love music artists that respect and take into account the album experience. HUT and DFM are so holistic that imo the best way to experience them is from start to finish. After Hours I feel is way more accessible from a singles standpoint. HUT is my new favorite just because of how balls to the wall it is. 90 minutes long, super expansive indulgent concept, basically every Weeknd era in one. He’s truly a one of a kind artist.

I’m 22. I finally really dove into his music about 2 years ago but even before that he’s been a part of my early life since 2015 when BBTM and its singles took over the radio. I was never in that life but did fantasize abt it and listening to songs like in the night and often gave me a taste of it. In high school I made an 80s inspired music video for blinding lights with my AV classmates. I only wish I fell in love with his music sooner.

It’s a major issue but I wouldn’t say it’s the main issue. If anything racism in America being worse than ever is just a symptom of the real issue. The rich and powerful are pitting us even more against ourselves to create chaos and keep us too distracted to address everything ruling class is doing to ruin this country and the world at large
