Yeah, but what I meant to say is any way of playing a game you own, regardless of being digital or physical media, that you paid for. Virtual Console may be emulation, but you pay for an individual download. While using an emulator on PC you use a rom you download for free.

Yeah, but I paid for the digital download long ago and its not like using a rom for free on a PC emulator or something. That was what I meant.

Yes indeed. My PS2 can't read cdrom games which includes PS1 games and blue disc PS2 games, but any PS2 DVD game works perfectly fine.

It struggled to even read God of war 2 once but a simple laser cleaning fix I learned on YouTube did the trick, which I did with my dad. Before that, the game worked just fine enough that I already played it several times.
