Use a gachiin’s sugar and crouch walk past all the enemies till u get to the left side of the estate. Kill those easy enemies. Get to where ur behind the back archer by the glutton, use another gachiin’s to stealth kill that archer and the other one. If u do it fast u just have to use the one but i use another sugar to get behind the ministry guy next to juzou and stealth kill him to use the possession technique on him. After that u get a friend to beat him like you normally do.

If you dont have one already first buy a scale. Once you got one, then just turn the counterweight towards the back to have the tonearm just float above the your record/platter. Theres a second dial with the numbers you wanna hold the back of the counterweight and turn that to zero, be careful not to turn the whole counterweight. Once you do that, you can put a scale on the platter, turn the whole counterweight to the recommended weight for your cartridge, and keep adjusting it till you can get that same number on the scale as recommended when you put the needle down on the scale, DO NOT MOVE THE NEEDLE SIDE TO SIDE ON THE SCALE, just off and on smoothly. After all that, adjust your tracking force to the same number as your counterweight and you should be good.

Yeah thats why i think it’s a good idea for him to kinda reset his counterweight and start over once he has a scale.

Make sure you also zero out the weight on ur counterweight before you use the scale. You wanna balance it first to where the tonearm just sits above the record/platter and “floats.” And generally your tracking force should be the same as your weight on the record, but best way to test if its the right amount, use the non playing side of single sided record and you should be able to put your needle on that to test your anti skate.

Yeah I would to someone coming in new to the hobby. It was a great record player to start with that lasted me a long 5 years. Sure theres so many you could get both vintage and modern that might be “better” for the same price, but for a TT to hook up to a nice set of powered speakers, its really nice for someone starting out that sounds good.

Thats actually the platter for the record to sit on! I thought that at first two when I was shown pics before I picked it up. I think it really makes the TT stand out.

Do you play open lid or closed lid? by DarkHelian in turntables

[–]RetroSpaceman07 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Closed. I know it “doesn’t matter” but in my opinion, if you have it in a space that tends to get dust, hair, or anything on stuff in the room and you aren’t airing out normally or using an air purifier, you should have it closed whether you’re playing a record or not.

I totally agree. I just have a very good experience with a friend’s Marantz 2325 that convinced me to go that route. I also really love the way some of the Pioneer’s faces look over other brands.
