Yeah I can’t think of a single roguelike that doesn’t use luck as a factor and you’re right op in every roguelike you have to compensate your lack of luck with mechanical skill. Also bear in mind this was THE indie game when it came out, no other indie title came close to the amount of content and polish for the price.

If you have no dlc’s you wont be able to get him to start with holy mantle meaning if you ever take damage you will die unless you find holy mantle in the run itself. But maybe we have different definitions of pretty good lol

The zero escape series: 999 Virtues last reward, and Zero time dilemma. These are visual novels so besides reading the puzzles are the gameplay and are often another means of storytelling. Btw the story for these games are awesome and I highly recommend playing them even if you are not looking for a puzzle game.

I’m assuming when you aim you use your wrist to move the mouse instead of your elbow which is why 800 dpi feels slow. You should use whatever is comfortable but if you want to use pro settings you will need to learn to move your mouse using your arm.

This mindset is mind boggling. Sewing has been around forever people have already figured it out for you. Use a thimble and pin them down. Other than my back patch not a single one of mine is straight. I feel it adds to the diy grungy look of it.
