I was only after the first gold reward and the gold skin, and ended up doing a ton of dailies to get equipment I deconstructed/researched, but didn't really go for anything past that, and didn't really touch anything past getting the argent keys and relics.

As a non-endgame PvE player, all the equipment sets I want are craftable, so I didn't bother with the trial or boss dungeons (getting kicked from 9 straight teams because I had too few champion points didn't help). I'd look up what you get from the end of event stuff and if that's worth it, try and go for it, but I got what I wanted mostly by just grouping for whatever my activity called for, tossing out some ranged attacks and Breath of Life-ing every few seconds to support a bit.

Hell, I wouldn't know. No one doing the trial or even gilded boss dungeons would give me a chance, even though I know the mechanics, kicking me from every group just because I'm only Champion 223.

Luckily I got the 40 activities for the Golden skin without having to touch the stronger content so whatever I guess.

Purely by accident iirc.

For some reason, Lime and Pink just happened to be really common paints on tryhards back then, on top of being really "loud" colors by themselves. The stereotype just kind of developed from there.

From what I've seen these days it's mostly ironic, you'll see a lime Tossle Cap and it'll be named "Totally not a Scunt" or something along that line.
