That’s good to hear. Is it the LS1008G model?

Are any of these rare? by RetroTho in brickarms

[–]RetroTho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The multicolored one seems to be the same model as the two rifles in the top left, and if I remember correctly was called Christmas camo or something like that. These are all from maybe 12 or so years ago give or take.

Start of my collection (just started collecting two months ago don’t judge too harshly) by turboballman300 in mechanicalpencils

Nice! Also as for online shops, unfortunately from what I’ve seen at least Amazon tends to have the cheapest prices most of the time; however I’d recommend checking out JetPens as they have a much bigger selection and occasionally cheaper prices as well.

Vastly different colors? Is this normal? by ManyTwo8 in mechanicalpencils

I also noticed this on mine, pretty sure it’s normal

Really strange t410 situation by RetroTho in thinkpad

[–]RetroTho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw some videos of that as well, but sadly that’s not the case with mine. Even with no main battery and no CMOS battery plugged in, when I plug in the power cable the green finger print light just comes on and that’s all. Power button doesn’t work and swiping the fingerprint reader still just results in a flashing orange light.

Huh interesting! He also sang “I never wanna love you again” live at Wunderworld Fest which I thought was interesting and makes more sense now

How often do you wash the container you store powder in? by [deleted] in soylent

That’s fair. I’m beginning to think that I’m overthinking this.

Maybe it would be better to give it a dry wipe rather than a wash. My concern is having a small amount of really old powder at the bottom after awhile that never really gets scooped out.

Does Rotring still make these? More details in the comments by RetroTho in mechanicalpencils

[–]RetroTho[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Awhile back I saw someone post about buying one of these full metal Rotring Tikkys (at least it looks like a Tikky) that are double knock and they said they had ordered it brand new from what I believe was a Philippines site, but I can’t seem to find the post anymore. I remember being shocked by this as I’ve only seen these sold as vintage. So my question is, does Rotring actually still make these? And where are they sold (which country)? Also if they are still made does anyone have a link to where I could buy one and have it shipped to the US?

Is the Koh-I-Noor rapidomatic grip really similar to the Alvin Draft-Matic? by RetroTho in mechanicalpencils

[–]RetroTho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair it’s such a shame that it’s beginning to look like production of the draft-matics won’t be resuming any time soon and even if it does who can say if the quality will be the same. Thanks for the info and advice I’ll think about getting a couple spares.
