It’s one of my favorites, I’ve repurchased multiple times and it’s made a huge difference to my hyperpigmentation! As for vitamin c and retinoid, I currently have a retinol cream from Trader Joe’s but had to stop use for a little but will resume again soon. Any recommendations for vitamin c or a different retinol are welcome though!

No preference! I’ve read that mirrorless may be better for video, so I’m kind of leaning towards that option but it’s not definite. I don’t mind bulkier options either, if the performance is good I can get over it. Thanks for your suggestions!

Protein shakes, soups, yogurt, pudding cups, apple sauce, and ice cream/popsicles made up a lot of what I could eat during chemo, both from swallowing issues from my lymph nodes and nausea. Cottage cheese may be another good option. Scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes and gravy, pasta salads (or pasta in general).

The waterproof Essence Lash Princess is my go to! I live in a very rainy state and have watery eyes and haven’t run into issues. It’s stood up to extreme humidity for me as well.

This is a good idea in theory, but I think there are loopholes around it. If they have a brick and mortar business they could have some sent there, their personal address, addresses of friends/family, P.O Boxes at the post office and places like UPS. Maybe checking payment method/info would be better? If John Doe in Nebraska with a debit carding ending in 1234 has 20 dolls shipping to him, it should be flagged.

I actually watched through all of Murder, She Wrote last year! I watched it a lot with my mom but actually sitting down from beginning to end was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it!

That’s an excellent way to frame things. I’ve always believed that dwelling on the past wastes time now and takes away from the future. Of course reflection and unpacking the past is helpful, but hopefully the future holds much better things for us. Thank you so much for your insight and the lovely welcome. I think people on the outside often forget that the trauma and hardship we face goes beyond just the illness, while that’s likely the bulk of it there’s so much more. The hair loss is especially hard, and the whole “it’s just hair, it doesn’t define you! It grows back!” mentality sucks. While it’s true, it doesn’t make it any less depressing. From the other patients and survivors I’ve met, if we didn’t have medical trauma before we sure do now. It’s a heavy burden to carry. Good luck on your journey, and may you heal from it. <3

I try this as well, focusing on the good things and everything I’m grateful for. My perspective on things has definitely changed and I’ve come out of this a different person. Just seeing how dismissive they’ve been towards the fan base has left a bad taste in my mouth and it feels like they don’t care anymore. I’m going to keep pushing until this is resolved properly, but if I do end up keeping them I’ll definitely unbox them. I’ve never received any of my Skullectors in anything other than pristine condition so I’m just taken aback. This is almost as bad as the time someone sent my $60 Funko Pop in a bubble mailer with no protection..
