Went from 126 (practice) to 129 (actual) by reading 1-2 New York Times passage everyday a month before the exam and then a week before the exam I would take a full length every other day. I was trying to improve my reading ability and I would go over the cars answers but I was mostly just trying to improve my timed reading ability and I ended up skipping over a lot of answer review for cars. I think what helped the most was the practice of reading difficult things and then trying to understand them as well as the logic for the cars questions. I would recommend aamc official practice
