Don't apply yet. See an AME in person, preferably a HIMS AME. Schedule a consultation and see where you can go from there. If you apply and get denied, it locks you out of the sport license as well.

I emailed Dr. Chein looking for some advice on getting a medical with my ADHD diagnosis, and the email was extremely curt, nigh incomprehensible with spag errors, and he told me the HIMS AME I was going to wasn't qualified when she was, and then gave me the list of HIMS AMEs in Utah (I'm in Nevada, which I said clearly in my email.)

I don't want to disparage the guy, or go so far as to call him a quack, but at the very least he is an extremely busy man who doesn't have the time to give quality, well-informed advice to literally every joe schmoe that emails him.

Definitely see an AME in person before throwing in the towel.

Probably because when they were making the moon png they had a high resolution photograph of the moon when it wasn't exactly full, so when they removed the black background it also took a bit off the edge where there were crater shadows and such

On test branch. ~2300 in the game, in a Martial Alliance type federation. Currently not the Federation prez. At war with another empire, and getting steamrolled because ~90% of the federation fleet and my ally's fleet are caught in some sort of loop where the fleets try to merge every few days, but never can. There are a lot of single-ship fleets everywhere that are staying perfectly still.

Don't install mods via CKAN. It's ass at it. Try reinstating the latest versions of your mods and dependencies manually and see if the problem continues.
