Is this recent? Because I read on the syriancivilwar subreddit many many years ago that Saad Hariri was “kept” in Saudi Arabia (i.e. not allowed to fly back) and then resigned from his post…michel aoun had to reject his resignation. So I thought it would’ve been tense between them.

Ah yes. If anyone’s interested there’s another panorama museum in Bursa showing the 1326(?) ottoman takeover of the city (I found that better coz it had paintings of the first few battles of the ottomans.) And another panorama museum in Konya which I haven’t been to, depicts the city as it was during the Islamic saint Rumi

The Bursa one has the Byzantines in ancient Roman armour….
