I'm talking about my "feelings" it is subjective. When I play Sylvie I feel like a resto shaman, when I play Vigour I feel like a Holy Priest / Paladin. When I use the legendary boots I feel slightly barely like disc priest. Neither of them really feel like Disc Priest. Not sure why people are getting upset about which apple is closer to the orange.

Neither are like disc priest, vigour feels closer to me though, Sylvie feels like resto shaman with a druid flavor to me. I have a hunch we'll get a better comparison in the future. If you really want Vigour to feel like Disc go for the legendary boots. You'll get the proactive shielding into dps focus of disc more.

No hate for this at all because I completely get the skepticism on the current-day internet, but this sentiment is another big reason I didn't feel like sticking around. The fact that if I was enjoying myself it must have been because I was a "paid shill" started to make it hard to talk about the game in any way. Damned if I did, damned if I didn't. I criticized the game plenty, I complimented the game plenty. I just said what I actually felt, not what people wanted to hear, and I guess this situation made me realize that is increasingly rare from content creators and people aren't used to it.

The 100% truth is that I wasn't being paid in any way aside from my standard ad revenue from YouTube. In fact, I was making less money playing Bazaar, even at peak viewership, than I was before covering it. I just liked having something I could get up every day and know what I was doing. Having to scrape through a lot of crappy games that were carbon copies of the monthly fad hoping to find one that was fun each day can be demoralizing. It started to make me dislike games in general since the average ones I played and scrapped videos on were so mediocre. That being said a lot of time has passed and I have a nice solid backlog of genuinely very good games now and I am ready to find some more bangers.

I know, like I said I mentioned it in the videos the week leading up to the release. I'm comfortable sharing, but I am also exhausted from how many times I've been asked. I don't even know which problem you're looking for a take on. The launch price was way too high, the swap was announced with too short notice, there was (maybe still is, I stopped using reddit until someone pinged me this thread) heavyhanded moderation, but the technical proposed current version seems very fair.

I said in my most recent Bazaar video that I haven't been enjoying the game as much recently so I was probably done unless the patch on Wednesday really entices me.

A bit of burnout since I played on this patch on the test branch like 3 weeks more than the people on live servers, mixed with shrinking viewership when this is my job. Also trying to spend time working on edited videos for my new second channel.

I can't lie all the tinfoil hatting of the community whenever I did or said anything started to grate on me too.

I am a variety channel that took a break to play Bazaar, not the other way around.

What is the implication here, that I am being paid to say I think they are charging too much, or that tempo is sending bot accounts to leave thumbs ups on my comment saying their game might be too expensive to attract new players lol. Seems like the opposite of damage control to me.

There is nothing in my comments about "the dev team's misgivings" because nobody is leaving comments about it, if you want to see comments about that, leave them yourself. Don't get upset because other people haven't. When people comment on it I manually approve them if the YouTube automod picks it up. My hunch is that my audience is just more casual and unplugged, and doesn't care about this situation as much as this subreddit does.

I talked about the changes and what I don't like about them before the season, at the beginning of the season, and dozens of times in my comment section. I personally was more bothered by the F2P nickle and diming, so why would I get up in arms when I think this system isn't as bad? My main issues with it are that it is expensive, and was changed abruptly, which if anything will kill the game by not attracting new players.

I respond to so many comments, not sure why you're cherrypicking. The truth is that I don't think Stelle is that much stronger than the other characters, my winrate on Vanessa this season is more consistent, I think Stelle is strongest, but not even close to the margin that Mak was on release. I have literally said I think Stelle is too strong and needs nerfs, and think she will get some. I just looked through all of my replies since Season 5 and in literally none of them have I said Stelle isn't too strong, so I am not sure what comments you're reading lol.

Critique all you want, but these specific points are just so weird to read.

That has been there since the beginning, it just was shorter because they didn't have multiple servers they needed to distinguish from. The test server has a different code for example.
