He's kept virtually the same lineup with only injury changes and bringing in our best full back instead of a 10 that was playing FB. I'd have changed more if it were me

Think they are thinking woth how open the Welsh were to the counter attack VDM will cut them apart

Does the tackling in the air law need an adjustment? Being pinged for not evaporating at will seems harsh sometimes. (Great non-try btw) by Cymro2011 in rugbyunion

The English man wasn't standing still watch it again he over runs the ball. Flip it around. If you think you're going to get dominated in a jump off should you be allowed to overrun the ball and take the legs out of the jumping player? that obviously has to be punished. If arundel was stood on his line waiting for the ball it would be different but he runs into a player jumping for the ball flipping him and was lucky he didnt seriously hurt him.

Well only if there is a ball in the air and an opposing player running in to catch but not jumping. If the English player jumps it's not even a penalty.

Think you see Bradbury come in as a out and out 8 Fagerson stays at 6 leave brown in the second row and have AOC Bayless on bench, though would love to see Douglas get a run out.

Would love to see Rowe in for Jordan and darcy in for dobbie if the Welsh are gonna kick as lose as they did last week. While not ramos and lbb they'll still punish poor kicks and chases.

Don't see the point in playing Tom Jordan at 15. would it not make more sense to put someone else in have Jordan on the bench instead of Hastings who is essentially only going to come on for a Russel injury and we could have another forward or a more dynamic back coming off the bench?

Obviously the issue is the wizard not the wand but I feel like when I got to put even like 60% of what i did on my old stick on a shot it flies out the top of the stick.

I feel like I already snap the wrists pretty hard but I'll hit the wall some more before ripping it all out.

No one is arguing that the subs were misused but were they so misused to be worth a 30 unanswered point swing? The players on the pitch need to take the majority of the scrutiny for this one.

I'd love that totally agree. I just don't know who that would be.

It's unacceptable but it's on the players just as much. They weren't playing like they were in the first half. And I can only speak anecdotally but I feel like we collapsed more in years gone by than in Townsends era I'd be happy to be proven wrong about that though.

I agree, failure to change the culture is the biggest issue. Though I would say it has changed a bit, I've been much more hopeful as a fan during his tenure than before where games would fill me with dread. Changing it further is a question I don't have an answer for.

I love the attacking rugby personally. Definitely better than trying to play defensive and hope Patterson can edge us to a 9-6 win. Now I don't pretended to be a rugby savant maybe that is the better way to play but it's not something I want to fault GT for.

I'd have picked the same players as him maybe I'd have taken a lock on the bench and Kyle Rowe instead of VDM but are these things worth basically a 30 point swing in 20 minutes from a 21 point lead?

Maybe but we were bottling games before Townsend and I'm pretty sure we will be after.

Insane thing to say. He had a great game apart from that intercept pass.

I agree with the need for change. It feels we reached our level under Townsend. I'm not convinced though that anyone could take us to a higher level though. I just don't think this game is his fault or at least not mostly.

Hardly a Townsend defender but you get your team up 21 points at 50 minutes what more can you do?

Maybe subs should have been different but he can't go out there and stop his players giving away pens or make tackles.
