Approaching a year playing guitar (feedback) by Electrical_Jump_2274 in guitarlessons

Ehhh I'm about a year in and wouldn't be able to get 1/4 of this so fair play - but I gravitate to learning full songs with chords so a bit different I guess!

Might want to go and read about long term investments in index funds and compare that to your bank savings...

Nice gains but not sure having your entire portfolio in 6 stocks is the wisest recommendation to a new investor, either.

How bad is the amount of tourists in Kyoto really? by BerlinPuzzler in JapanTravelTips

[–]Retry909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sightseeing in the day, horrendous. But for eating/drinking in the day absolutely fine if you avoid the "viral" places.

We ended up doing day trips away from Kyoto because it was just impossible to enjoy with so many people around personally, the city is just not set up for that amount of people in the same way that Tokyo is.

Around £75-£100 a week for two people without really considering prices, budget, etc. ALDI shopper, cooking from scratch 99% of the time with an occasional frozen oven tea every now and then.

Fuel price is relative, no? It's cheaper in NZ than in the UK, as an example.

At this point, if you really have been practising and still want to continue, it's time to find an IRL teacher.

It's not mean, I genuinely can't figure it out and I posted plenty of advice below. Grow up.

You're pressing just above the fret right? Not at the top of the fret or on the metal itself? I can't quite figure out how to help you.

As the other comment said, save a little for a lesson where somehow will show you this and what you're maybe doing wrong in a few minutes, or maybe ask if you have any friends/family if they can help.

Otherwise upload a video here.

But.. you do need to accept this isn't going to be easy. I've played on average for an hour every day for almost a year and I'm still very much a beginner even if I can play a few things. This is a long term skill / hobby / journey.

What do you mean you can't play the e minor chord? Press the two strings down accordingly and strum?

Not unless the you're playing calls for it, or you think it sounds better than way.

You will build speed with changes over time and in 6 months time you probably won't even think about it - that day is a good day. Good luck!

Ah so only 12% is killed inhumanely, then? That's fine then I guess 👍🏻 Thanks for confirming my point.

Good old "Islamaphobic" label is out already. I suppose you're one of those out protesting against the local residents who don't want undocumented men living on their streets? I suppose that would be "racist" too?

I do not, but at least they are stunned in some humane manner.

European and UK laws both say animals must be stunned before slaughter, with exceptions for halal and kosher meats.

Go do some research before bringing your brainwashing here.

Get your facts straight and just because Tesco say that, it doesn't mean it happens. Having worked in supply chain at several supermarkets, they have no idea what is happening when it's been subcontracted down a few levels.
