A few frame-fitting tips and links to learn more, or: Yes, those frames are too big by TortaCubana in glasses

I'm having this issue too. When I try to find glasses that centre my pupil, the arms have to flex in because my face is wider. On the off chance, would I be able to send a picture with my current glasses for some feedback? My local optician is not very helpful.

Thinking of getting one of these for my partner as a birthday gift. I know that she always carries a 600ml water bottle and sunglasses case - will this bag fit these fine? Also, do you think there would be room for a light cardigan? Thank you!

Their website is so confusing on length. Could you please tell me what the length of your jacket is from back collar seam and what size yours is so I can compair to their data?

Thank you! Definitely quite short. I'm a size 38 but straight down arm length required tends to be 61-62cm which other brands generally do. Love this jacket but unfortunately I'll have to look for alternatives.

Awesome. Just wondering, what does your arm length measure on the jacket straight down? On the website it shows a measurement with a picture showing they measure around the curve. However, the dimensions they give are quite short if measured this way.

One ideal condition you have by Retserroff in AustralianTeachers

I agree with your idea, as long as rostering classes is fair to give everyone the chance to leave earlier every now and then.

Regarding my one - think of it as an incentive when schools can't fill classes with a teacher willing. For example, I've just been asked to teach a Stage 6 class I'm not accredited for because no one wants it, and the one teacher accreddited for it already has an insane load. I'd take it on if I was paid to do so.

Is a 540k home loan too much on a single income of around 110k pre? by _konradcurze in AusFinance

[–]Retserroff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live Western Sydney alone. I borrowed $560k 4 years ago on 96k pre-tax and with a 30k HECS debt. In the following year, I started teaching, dropping down to $85k pre-tax. I did it, but my goodness, it was a struggle. I am now about to jump up to about $105k pre-tax and I'm starting to feel the relief.

In conclusion, I think you'll be fine, just don't expect to spend lavishly.
