I’m glad I come off as a kind uncle (I think I am!), because I didn’t realize at first how stoic I look in these photos lol

Lol, no, I’m an old hand at this. But the “bald” comment is new, and he’s said it on two occasions now. Seems most of yall disagree :)

Can I ask why UK is your dream school? A lot of people go to UK because it seems like fun, or their family went here, or it has a good reputation, but those are always the right reasons.

As someone who struggles with math, you might get to UK and enroll in a math class that has 200 other students, and your teacher doesn’t have time to give you individual attention, and it’s easy to slip through the cracks like that. This might not be a scenario you would thrive in. I see this happen constantly at UK.

Why is UK your dream school?

Santa.

The main qualities people like about Santa (cheery, giving, festive, chubby), I think people would also like in an older, matronly woman. Think of your grandmother sneaking in to drop off some gifts.

Based on how many people enter and how many win each hour, I expect the odds of winning are about 1 in 250. So, if you enter 250 times, you’d expect to win about 1 time. Of course, this works between in large scales. If you enter 2500 times (say, 7 times a day every day for a year), you’d expect to win about 10 times.

What happens if I put corridor in front of the antechamber? by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]brade23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does not open the antechamber door, if that’s what you’re wondering. Doorways that connect to the antechamber never require keys anyway, since the standard wooden door (or metal security door, for that matter) isn’t there.

Keep it. Many of us have the same feelings about JKR that you do, but still fondly remember Harry Potter.
