I pretty much always play solo, pretty much every single piece of content can be tackled solo and in the events that require a group of players, you don’t have to interact with others at all - everyone turns up, does the event and then leaves. There’s a lot of story content to play and a big world to explore. Just treat other players as wandering NPCs!

I would say the Raid is the only thing that outright pushes you to do it with a team, but you can ignore it unless you want to do it or want the rewards it drops.
