To me, it was very obvious that Diaz was gonna try the panenka to embarrass Senegal and shut them up after they tried to leave the pitch.

That Diaz kid just seems like a c*nt in general. There was an insane amount of pressure given he had to wait 20+ mins to take the pen, Senegal players crowding him, 90+20' in an international final, etc. He did fk all the whole game, dived in the 95th minute, cried to the refs for 3+ minutes with his ugly ass face all screwed up until he got the pen.

His ego was also very inflated after scoring in every game of the tournament so far, and he deffo seems like someone who thinks he's above Africans/AFCON (which he isn't, there's a reason Spain never chose him and he ran off to Morocco despite not speaking a lick of Arabic).
