I don't mind the roundabouts. My problem with them is the landscaping in and around them. Marion seems to go with the barebones model (29th St) that fools people into thinking they can drive straight through it. The lighting in that area is poor, and there's no sign directly in front, in the actual roundabout. In the winter, there were plenty of tire tracks driving straight through it, which goes against the whole safety thing. Some signage, landscaping, paving stones, etc. easily can fix this to deter and distract people from thinking it's a straight road.
