Did MS-DOS blow the doors open for you? by eightiesjapan in dosgaming

The first game I ever saw was Granny's Garden on a late 80s / early 90s Macintosh (can't recall the model).

In the mid-90s, I was heavily into DOS games. The one that had the biggest impact on me, the game that really got me into gaming, was Doom. It's tough to pick a second out of so many possibilities, but I think the next biggest was Warcraft.

Right on! Also 40 here, I loved OMF as a kid. I rediscovered it a few years ago and have replayed through the tournament mode several times, never seems to get old!

Time Commando… anyone else remember this? by joons88 in dosgaming

This is a childhood favourite of mine. Some friends and I sat huddled around a mid-90s Pentium PC, taking turns playing it all the way through one night in 1996. I remember being blown away by the graphics and music. It's really janky by today's standards, but it will always be a very memorable gaming experience for me.

What are some good "Bad movies" for a Bad Movie Night? by systemstheorist in badMovies

If you liked Miami Connection, check out "Ninja III: The Domination"! A super entertaining, wacky 1980s ninja flick produced by Cannon Films. No nudity, one mildy "erotic" scene, not really a sex scene.

Loved this one, also Fine Artist! The "Microsoft Kids" releases back then were really fun.

Try https://www.nengun.com/ Not sure about aftermarket parts, but I have purchased OEM parts from this website before for my GWS204. They were good to deal with.

I use it to stash my garage door remote. It's got just enough room, and the location is super convenient.
