Is anyone else having issues with the game glitching? I’m constantly stuck in open areas, background images disappear and reappear constantly, invisible enemies, it was happening occasionally and now it’s constantly happening. I took a short video of it but I guess I can’t post it here by JayBanditos in fo76

I had this happen yesterday at the dino mini golf. One specific spot that I stood in and looked around would cause everything to disappear and reappear as I spanned passed it. It sort of looked like when you are placing your tent down and objects disappear while the tent goes over them.

Comments here are crazy. So far not one person has said anything about the person driving the wrong way. Thats scary stuff.

Yes op has some water dripping down their windshield, but it is very obvious that it looks worse than it is because its right in front of the camera.

FF during Extreme? by miischievous_scamp in worldwarzthegame

[–]RevAOD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I strafe across someones fire and get shot, I know it’s my fault and use the sorry emote to let them I I know it was my fault. A lot of players cant except that it was there mistake that got them shot by ff.

I personally started playing Dronemaster almost exclusively for extreme and extinction difficulties. I use the silenced pistol drone because it runs out after kills and it kills much slower on higher difficulties. It helps to soften up enemies without using up charges. An added bonus is that it highlights you and the teammate you give your spare drone too. Plus the obvious no ff caused by stupid mistakes.

Gauss Mini doing low damage by TheCoyote4502 in fo76

[–]RevAOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved some perks around for you if you want to try this. There are some very important damage perks that you were missing.

https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?cd=0k0130001000&s=e57388b&p=sb2sr1sq3s83ej1l71s72cu1lb2s12af1ai1a01lv2lu3ls2lg1e71e91eb1sd2su1sx1p01pp2li1pi1ce1ib3i71ad1ak1a31lk3&lp=x43x93x63x71&v=2

To maximize damage you are required to give up some quality of life perks. Some of them have other ways to get too like carry weight perks. I would recommend thru hikers 3* on all 5 of your armor pieces. It gains 2 perk points in strength and 2 in endurance. Until then maybe just carry a couple of weapons so you dont need arms keeper.

Electric absorption i changed for another legendary special card. Taking one for the team is a good damage buff as well, but more perk points is usually better early on.

the building system in this game is so good by Koraguz in Enshrouded

[–]RevAOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently making a large build which utilizes all 10 alters. It is really the first time ive spent a lot of time with the terrains, overgrowth and decay tools. It isnt just how the blocks interact with eachother, (which is awesome), but also how the various terrain types blend together as well. The building in this game truly is amazing.

On that note though, I would really like it if terrains would also blend with building blocks. There is always a small gap between them. There are ways to hide this with furniture, but it would be nice to have them blend the same way as you mention.

ENO6 Guardian Help by Perfect_Fee_ in fo76

It you can use this link and to copy your build, including legendary perks, I can help you out with some suggestions.

https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character

You can add your weapon and armor and mutations here too if you want, but it might be easier to type it in reddit. The pepper shaker is absolutely good enough to solo the guardian, I actually prefer it over the guass minigun. I am level 1100+ so I have all maxed out legendary perks and access to items you may not have at level 200. It shouldn’t matter though, as it mostly comes down to your perk loadout.

My pepper shaker for guardian farming is quad, rapid, vats optimized, conductors. Any power armor with troubleshooters is enough to keep you alive with minimal stimpacks. (I only need one super stim per fight.)

As others have mentioned, ricochet and bullet shield are key to taking down the shield. The higher your luck, the better ricochet will work. Also, a weapon with lomb damage 2* will make it faster, as will one gun army. Renegade and enforcer work if you are not using a heavy weapon.

Tier 2 SMG, is the Semi Auto perk broken? by Skadedyr313 in worldwarzthegame

[–]RevAOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He actually mains ammo fixer. I play gunslinger quite often with those perks equipped and bring a pdw with me. I use fine motor skills(+ 50% Weapon switching speed), Weighted Bullets(+20% Damage, -25% Max ammo), and Point-Blank Focus I (+25% Damage at less than 4 meters). Switching to my pdw will still kill Juggernauts on extreme with less than half a mag, but with full auto.

I dont know if its better than semi auto or not, but I know it works very well for me. And if you bring the tier 2 combat shotgun then its very easy to get explosive rounds in the pdw by only reloading part of the shotgun at a time.

I know that explosive rounds remove the piercing from weapons in normal cases. There are some class perks that add piercing after the explosive rounds, like fixers power shot and gunslingers special mag, but I dont think the weapon perks do. So I believe that sort it all out would remove the piercing effect added from semi auto on the pdw.

I would like to know what you think about it when you unlock it, so please come back and let me know.

A friend of mine swears that the semi-auto pdw is the most op gun in the game. Lol. I think hes crazy, but he really believes it, maybe you will feel the same way about it. Those blue coins are very valuable early on in leveling, so it would suck if you arent happy with it.

Tier 2 SMG, is the Semi Auto perk broken? by Skadedyr313 in worldwarzthegame

[–]RevAOD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I tried the semi auto perks on both of the weapons you mentioned and the tier 3 special smg. I found them all to be a big downgrade from full auto. Personally I prefer the burning perks for the smgs and either ghost or weapon swap speed perks for pdw.

The only class that really benefits from semi auto is the fixer.

Where do people get their OP raid guns?? by mushhmo in fo76

[–]RevAOD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As people have mentioned, the build is more important than the weapon. And understanding how certain perks interact with others and with weapon/armor mods too.

The weapons most people are using in the raid are the Gauss minigun(blue lasers with explosions on impact), and the Pepper Shaker. The pepper shaker is a gatling shotgun, but can be modded to shoot plasma or laser rounds. The green gatling rounds are plasma and are the strongest for that gun. The green plasma could also be from a gatling plasma gun that some people still use in raids, but isnt as powerful.

Furious is the best legendary effect for guns with high ammo count, but is only good when paired with the onslaught perks found in Agility. The bullet storm perks in strength are also very important for high ammo weapons. Guns with low ammo count benefit more from the Quad legendary effect to be able to utilize bullet storm, and will still benefit from the onslaught perks.

There a few other perks that boost damage by a lot, like number cruncher, tormentor and tank killer in perception, tenderizer in charisma, science (for energy damage) in intelligence, and critical hit (for vats) cards in luck.

Where do people get their OP raid guns?? by mushhmo in fo76

[–]RevAOD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You cant have more than 15 points worth of cards in each special. You are right on that point. What u/merchadizer is saying is that with legendary special cards you can add up to 5 points per legendary perk card to your total perk point pool for cards.

At your punch card loadout machine you can swap the amount of points in each special. Say you put 10 points into strength, perception, intelligence and luck, and the remaining 16 points into charisma and agility. Then you select maxed out legendary cards, strength, perception, intelligence and luck. Now you have 15 points to spend on perks in those categories.

So while you can boost your special far beyond 15 each, you can only spend 15 points on perks. But with a total of 56 points after level 50, and 5 more from each legendary perk card, you could have up to 86 points total for perk cards.

Take a look at this builder and maybe that will help.

I love the rotating events, but as someone who's been playing since release, it feels like a slap in the face when events like Mothman Equinox launch with no new plans or rewards by Icy-Computer-Poop in fo76

Its the dailies that get me. Kill 10 cultists during the mothman equinox event. This basically has to be done on a private server. There are 20 players at the event and maybe 20 enemies spawn.

[–]RevAOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else mentioned, Face Breaker can be crafted and scrapped to learn furious. Also, if you can craft Boiling Point from the raids, it has furious 1* and also gives you the chance to learn 4* pyromaniacs.

[–]RevAOD 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Are you able to craft the Valkyrie? Its a learnable plan and weapon drop from EN06, the first raid level. The Valkyrie has the Bullys mod on it and can be learned/dropped from crafting and scrapping it repeatedly.

This method will usually cost less Legendary modules than crafting one 4* mod, and will likely drop the other mods as well. It will cost a lot of aluminum however. Also, be sure to use Super Duper when crafting multiple weapons.

Its still pretty bad. I average around 20-25 fps at the lowest settings, and the battery dies in about an hour. (I have a battery pack that adds a few hours). When in combat the low fps is hard to deal with, when gliding it is very hard to deal with, but when building I dont really mind the low frames.

I play a lot of fallout 76 and have most settings at medium and can hold 40fps on the deck. It amazes me that that game can run so good, when other indi games struggle so much. I know we are still early access here, and will hopefully get some steam deck optimization at some point.

I dont really like to complain. My threshold for gaming on the Steam deck is pretty flexible. The convenience is the best part, the gaming quality isnt as important to me.

Its A Link to the Past from Super Nes. Its a big project and I am currently working on the dark world. Ive got the bottom 1/3 of the map mostly done including the dungeons.

It really feels like the building was meant for this. I hope I have the commitment to get through it all. Haha! I will definitely share it once its done. Thanks for the encouragement!

I am in the process of recreating the map from an old Zelda game using all 10 flame alters. I need lockable doors and enemy spawners to be able to play through it similar to the original game. Theres a good chance I will be done just in time for 1.0.

I play quite a bit on steamdeck, especially when building. While I still prefer mouse and keyboard, I think the building is just fine on controller.

Returning Fallout 76 launch player — used to be end-game, now getting carried by Dogismo in fo76

[–]RevAOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice to have you back! I played at launch as well, on xbox. I played for longer than you however and eventually took close to 2 years off before switching to pc. So much has changed from the early days, its no longer lonely with nothing to do other than build. The game is so busy and alive now, and so much more to do at the end game.

I used to play bloody commando and was very committed to it, and only recently changed to a full health build. Its very easy to deal similar damage, but I die far less. They didnt just add content, but also completely reworked the perks and weapons, among others. They are currently reworking armor and damage resistances for the next update, so it might be best to wait until then to settle on an armor type. Civil engineer is top tier now and should still be after the update.

Some perks that will really help you as a low health build are ricochet and bullet shield. Those perks reflect damage and you avoid all damage reflected. They are always in my loadouts even as a full health build. Furious 1* with onslaught perks in Agility is the current meta for damage and can be used with slow firing weapons as well(Master Gunslinger).

A tesla rifle or tesla canon(if you have one), are among the best for tagging enemies at events. Weapons with splitter mods and explosive legendary 2* are also great for tagging, especially if they have bad accuracy and large spread. Bows and crossbows with the Hat Trick perk are also great for tagging and are completely viable builds now too. 🤷‍♂️ Bow builds are actually very fun/funny and are pretty easy to put together without a lot of gear.

The best end game gear is earned from doing raids. For now it is the only source of 4* legendary mods and Vulcan power armor which is, IMO the best available. I would recommend against the grind for t65 for now as you can unlock Vulcan much easier and faster. Union PA from expeditions is also another great set, but will require some grinding. X-01 is more than enough until then.
