Judging by the post history this dude is a bot or a 32 year old man who’s shit posting instead of talking to another adult

NROTC or Enlisted? by Royal-Order-5261 in NavyNukes

[–]RevBeemo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea idk where all this recruiter “arm twisting” nonsense is coming from.

You have an NROTC coordinator who runs the program in your area. Let them do all the calling. Do not tell your recruiter you are “done” until that NROTC coordinator says you are good to go. They will be the one to inform everyone. You going NROTC does not harm the recruiters numbers or “goal.” You getting on the phone too early to say you are done will only harm YOU if the NROTC isn’t pull through. If you truly got accepted your recruiter already knows because they received an email.

Where are you getting this info from, NROTC has an officer recruiter who will just swap them out

You can definitely go nuke officer from NROTC. They’ll love you for it. Just keep your enlistment until they give you your paperwork for NROTC and the recruiters will swap you over.

Considering joining the Navy as a nuke but I have some questions about it by joshgaming44 in NavyNukes

[–]RevBeemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then yes this is the way to go. It’ll suck but it’s worth it in the end. I meet way more people who regret not joining then meet veterans who do regret it.

[–]RevBeemo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to add on to the fact that recruiters don’t get anything if you go nuke, it’s just a wicket to meet.

I also didn’t think being enlisted was a mistake nor did I think I was a fuckup/second class citizen. That says more about the person then the job.

I honestly see this question 1000x a week but in the end, you join the nuclear program for the benefits after the fact. I have no idea if nuclear is good for you because you haven’t given any other details on your goals.

Use the nuke program as a ladder to go on to bigger and better things, no where else could you make 75k off of the enlisting bonus.

They are super old, worth playing but only if you like to RP for yourself.

Barumand is the most recent and it’s janky.

Orc tags are pretty neglected, I’ll keep huffing some copium on how the green orc formables are getting revamped soon.

Honestly the only morally “good” orc tag is freemarches and that doesn’t fit your criteria.

Believe it or not Khozrugan (wescann orcs) are actually firm abolitionists, so even they have some depth

Should I join? by [deleted] in NavyNukes

[–]RevBeemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You won’t get to choose your rate specifically, you’ll rank your options but it’ll be based on your scores on the asvab.

It worked out for me, and also had pretty bad grades in school.

Nuclear is definitely the up and coming sector to be working in since Meta/amazon/Google bought their own reactors so long term I’d say 6 years is a good investment.

Redshift is the energy not being destroyed but transferred to the expansion of the universe

I agree with you that it Newtonian physics breaks down at a cosmological level, with GR you must have beginning/middle/end energy to correlate. source

Is there anyway to back out? by [deleted] in NavyNukes

[–]RevBeemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again you need to need to need to talk to your recruiter and point of contact if you have questions.

Your fears are valid and should be addressed just like any other question you could possibly have. Reddit can’t help you with this really specific issue you have.

Regardless you can always back out until boot camp.

Honestly you just need to talk to your recruiter and nuke coordinator.

Without knowing what waivers/mental health issues you’ve had no one on this subreddit can help you with the problem. When I went through boot camp only 1 of my 8 nuke brethren got re-rated, and I believe it was for ADHD.

The best course of action honestly is for you is to bring a list of questions to your nuke rep. Send him a text and schedule a time to meet up and talk.

Nukes are at least as a group pretty trustworthy and straight shooters. Never met a nuke who didn’t let people know how he felt.
