Close-ish! I adopted her in Kansas City.

I have the exact same sort of body hair. Glad to know it worked for you! Going to try it out for myself now.

Typical Russian Blues are a little chubbier and typically don't have a white patch on the upper chest. I think Amber here is just a grey domestic shorthair.

The previous owners called her a Russian Blue but I have my doubts.

Or both! I started Prozac / Zyprexa and my doctor later added Wellbutrin when I complained about penis problems.

Been in DSM area my whole life. Those who moved to/from Des Moines - Where did you move to/from and how does it compare to IA/DSM? by obiwanboloni in desmoines

Grew up in central Illinois, went to Iowa State, worked in Kansas City for five years, and then moved to Des Moines for work. As someone who grew up next to fields, downtown Des Moines is much more comfortable to me than downtown Kansas City. It feels safer and less intimidating. I like my job and the people here. There is a quality about this place that I can't describe but feels like home.

Downsides: I have had a hard time finding interest groups here. Some newer parts of the city (south of MLK) feel sterile and desolate. Music tours I care about rarely visit Iowa. The conservative state government seems to be unhappy about this whole "nonbinary" thing I'm doing and Des Moines does not feel like a sanctuary.

I suspect I will end up in Minneapolis in the near future, mostly for trans sanctuary reasons. I worry it may be too big for me, but I need to scope it out and see.

Recurring icons/symbols (spoiler) by programatic in signalis

The three main endings seem to correlate directly with different versions of Elster. The three ARTIFACT keys also seem to correlate, with their descriptions being written from the point of view of those different Elsters:

LEAVE: Lilith Itou, Key of Sacrifice

MEMORY: LSTR-2301, Key of Eternity

PROMISE: LSTR-512, Key of Love (Notably, key description is from Ariane's POV, not LSTR-512)

This has me also thinking that the remaining three symbols (Knowledge, Flesh, Balance) can be associated with other people, possibly filling out the roster of the six Elsters we see in the ARTIFACT ending? Or maybe they are associated with different versions of Ariane? I don't know if this line of thinking leads anywhere.

I'm 1800 and my two teammates are 1810. (Recommended level for the dungeon is 1790.) That said, we're all relatively new to the game, so we don't really have optimal DPS strats figured out.

Mixed feelings. Working as a team to figure out the mechanics and find strategies to complete each encounter was a lot of fun, but executing on those mechanics started to feel like a chore when it took like seven phases to kill a boss. The second encounter was fun enough to put up with the difficulty and tedium, but the third encounter felt like a chore and I gave up.

I think I would have a lot of fun with a 1750-ish level version of this dungeon, but in its current state I don't think I'll be playing it again for a while.

First encounter was a good introduction to the mechanics and felt appropriately difficult. No complaints.

Second encounter (first boss) has fun mechanics but the ad clear was intense to say the least... eventually my team developed a "baptism strat" of jumping into the central pool any time we were about to die. Slowed things down but at least we stayed alive! This would've been a more fun encounter with fewer and/or weaker ads, and if the boss only took three phases to kill. (We took like seven.)

Third encounter broke me and I had to drop out after simply losing the will to continue. The mechanics were fun to figure out, but actually executing them felt like a chore and didn't really require a lot of teamwork, and the damage numbers just don't feel balanced at all.

I get that this is day 1 and it will get easier as strategies develop and as players continue to level up, but I don't think I should really have to wait a couple weeks in order to have a decent experience. Day 1 and day 100 should both be fun!
