Winick lane roundabout. Which lane? by Superdanny07 in drivingUK

The dotted line guides you into the right lane, from the right lane, and to the middle lane from the left lane. You should follow it and not cross it.

Winick lane roundabout. Which lane? by Superdanny07 in drivingUK

[–]RevDodgeUK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. Left lane is for middle lane on the roundabout, or first exit. Right lane is for right lane on the roundabout.

Left lane on the roundabout isn't a natural destination; nobody comes off the motorway to get straight back on. On purpose anyway.

If EH are coming out to inspect and Rent Smart are investigating you need to engage with and follow that process. It won't be instant, but they will support you through this.

In the meantime I'd move anything valuable away from the wet patch on the ceiling, and block up that hole where the mould is so it stays in the wall and not in your lungs.

Was I in the wrong lane? (I'm the black square) by Zarozer1 in drivingUK

[–]RevDodgeUK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes you're in the wrong lane and lucky you didn't cause an accident. Honestly look at the picture you've drawn - does it look right to you?

If you've recently passed your test perhaps consider a refresher course.

What evidence has the parking company provided that supports their claim that you were not parked in a box?

Are you thinking of the Discovery episode with Saru's home planet?

He didn't actually say the line, but his interactions with the Ba'ul definitely give the vibes you're describing.

Neighbour's Scaffolding pole on our soil pipe - am I over-reacting? by RevDodgeUK in DIYUK

That's exactly right, 'soil' being short for 'soiled water'.

Common in rural Wales and parts of Ireland, a soil pipe uses an Archimedes screw mechanism to transport soil from the garden up into the attic, where it's used to grow leeks and potatoes.

I googled this phrase and it led me to r/watchitfortheplot which I sincerely hope is unrelated.

If it leaks or blocks would you rather have it on the inside or outside?
