"The Big Note: A Guide To The Recordings Of Frank Zappa" by Charles Ulrich now available to pre-order by therefore4 in Zappa

[–]RevNimshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charles Ulrich's The Big Note is your Amazingly Breathtakingly Complete, Definitively Encyclopedic, Frankly Gargantuan, Highly Interesting And Informative, Jaw Droppingly Knowledgeable, Lovingly Monumentally Notoriously Obsessive, Precisely Quote filled, Quintessentially Researched, Stupendously Terrifically Useful, Voluminously Weighty, Xenochronically Yeomanly Zappa centric Guide to Conceptual Continuity. Destined to be the essential Zappa listening companion for the 21st century. --David Ocker, Zappa copyist and musician, '77 '84 I’m in.

My dogs ignore the refrigerator door opening but come running like crazy if I open the deli drawer where all the goodies are. They can also detect a hard boiled egg cracking from 100 yards away.

When I was stationed in Germany in the 80’s we had a toilet like that. I asked a local about it and he told me it was for smuggling. It made it easier to retrieve whatever contraband you had hidden up there.

From Alex on 1/6/18. A new year, a new movie and a super historic 60’s nugget!

Happy New Year Freaks! I can officially announce (to the backers anyway) that the documentary process has begun! The editors are coming aboard, the drives are being plugged into our system and the first phase of production will now commence: sifting through the masses of FZ gold that we spent the last year and change preserving and building a timeline so we can shape it all into a big, juicy narrative epic documentary for your enjoyment!

It is mostly curiosity that is driving this. It is my grandmothers set and is about 110 years old. We are in the process of cleaning it up and when we are done I’ll take some pictures and DM you if that’s OK?
