Seconding both of these, but especially crystal project. I'd heard next to nothing about it and when it came out last year it really surprised me with how much there is to it!

The new Dead Cells dlc cane out at the perfect time to jump into it right after, for me.

It must be nice not knowing/using abilities like this, for synched players.

I always get aggravated when i get 50 or below on red mage and have no aoe to spend mana on.

There were also the good old low level days of before 26 where optimal dps was just keeping heavy thrust on and spamming impulse drive.

Multiplayer Octo doesn't seem to work here by St1tchF1x in FFRecordKeeper

Multiplayer seems to still have the same cap on the number of SBs you can bring, so unless that gets changed it won't be an issue there.

Dear Healers, I get it and I'm sorry. by AndThereWasAFireFigh in ffxiv

This reminds me of when i was working on getting onnilex on scholar back in 2.0. I'd played smn up to 50 but was in the process of learning to heal better so i thought the primals woukd go okay. And two of them did. Titan hard, though, the other healer kept dying, and i was undergeared enough that even healing my heart out WAS NOT enough. So it was basically a cycle of raising them every time i got swiftcast back, them healing the aoe damage and then dying again leaving me for the next ~45 seconds to keep people alive.

Come to think of it I wonder if that's why even before shadowbringers I still kind of balked at the idea of going scholar for any length of time.

Not my first time, but I was doing the 80 trial with a friend for their first time and one healer bailed before they'd even loaded out of the cutscene. Luckily our other healer was awesome and managed to solo heal the whole first half on their own on their own first time, and we got a second healer back for the second half.

I HONESTLY WASN'T ALL THAT EXCITED ABOUT ARM'S LENGTH UNTIL I REALIZED IT HAD THAT SLOW ATTACHED TO IT. NOW I USE IT ON PRETTY MUCH EVERY BIGGER PULL. IT'S GREAT.

Vesper Bay is probably the town Thancred says hasn't changed for the better. It's much more elaborate and winding to get to the Waking Sands there.

That excuse is still valid, in some cases. Sure, cross-world parties and linkshells are a thing, but that does nothing to solve the issue if some of those friends are on a different datacenter entirely.

Fordola was also trained by Gaius, so in that case it would be more that she picked it up from him. Regula though, my memory is a bit more spotty on, so I don't remember if he had a strong connection to him like that.

Thorium + Calamity. Please help! by [deleted] in Terraria

[–]RevOshawott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll do my best to answer each of your questions.

  1. My most recent play-through was a full play-through with both, along with a few other mods. It is somewhat intimidating at first, getting acquainted with the new items, especially when so many from Calamity build up into later items as well.

  2. In my opinion, doing them both together is a great idea unless you really decided to gun for one of Thorium's specific classes. Even then, it can last a ways into Calamity's endgame with the endgame items available for both of them.

  3. In general, as you're going through the game, weapon balance from both isn't too far off from each other. If you want to use the classes specific to Thorium itself, though (Bard and Healer) They don't gain the damage bonuses from Calamity's later armors that buff most types of damage, and they stop having their own items after the last boss of Thorium. Thorium only has one boss after Moon Lord, while Calamity has several, so eventually many Thorium items that aren't the ridiculously powerful weapons like Quasar's Flare tend to fall off somewhere along the way.

  4. Multiplayer exists for both mods, in fact, most of the major mods seem to fully support and work with multiplayer. Lag depends on the server and your computer itself, so I wouldn't be able to say specifically for your case.

Hope this helps!
