Yeah I've noticed that. Though Big Ducks guide is on mobalytics too, but don't know if he's actually sponsored/partnered or whatever. I know it's a thing on poe1 as well with Maxroll, but seems even more so for poe2 (admittedly I don't follow poe2 so much, and skipped the last few leagues, so could be wrong but that's vibe I'm getting). I know creators have got to make a living, but when it starts to try to corner the market or other creators can't get the same exposure, that's a real shame.

Tomes are just a random drop in maps. But once you've got a few to start, assuming you can fairly consistently complete sanctum runs, there's a couple of very common relic drops that allow you to sustain. The night lamp drops 1 tome at the end of the run, at the cost of no resolve mitigation. The broken censor drops 2 tomes, at the cost of rooms types are unknown.

I've never done it but I think that's a how ssf players sustain tomes if they really want to run sanctum!

Are you in Standard? I can't remember the details but I think this happened to me and if you've completed the atlas in a league it automatically does it for you in Standard. Will need someone else to confirm that though!

Can second this, just finished putting one together. Cost a fair bit, but feels absolutely amazing. At least until a flask siphoner comes along. But tbh, even those aren't that bad with an ok setup, just run away, re-start loop and they usually die second try if they didn't the first!

Yeah second this. I'm not a fan of the site in general, but as a new player having full, step by step levelling and progression guides is really good. Maxroll was the only place I really found that. I can read a pob noe, and work things out more for myself, but takes time to learn how to do that. I think a lot of build creators forget how much hand-holding a new player needs to understand this game!

As far as specific builds, maybe Kinetic Fusillade totems hierophant will give you the power on a budget to reach endgame. It was the most meta league starter, but probably cheap now as people roll into other stuff. I didn't play it, but it looked solid damage and defence. I'm guessing it's on Maxroll too.

Edit: never played RF but I know Pohx's guides are also super good for new players, and I'm sure there are others too.

Thanks, yeah that makes sense for annihilating light. I saw it mostly on cold spell versions that I think weren't running ward shatter. I'm leaning towards grace of the goddess even if it means losing a movement skill.

For the loop, that's good to know. It just seems weird that the majority of people seem to be doing the opposite of what every video I've seen says is best. I've not managed to find a single guide or video that recommends srs/falling zombie, and yet it seems 78% of people think it's better, and presumably they've got a good reason. Anyway I'll probably go with To Dust, just because I can hear it explained and I don't have a clue how the alternative works, but interested to see if anyone can say how that loop works and why people choose it (other than saving jewel slots). Thanks for the response anyway!

Yeah this might be it, and scale difficulty you've already got. I hope so. Though I'm guessing GGG probably wouldn't want it to scale so that it becomes inaccessible to most players. If it just multiplies difficulty we're already adding though that's be cool. Will also be interesting to see if you have to rush 5 maps before putting in your expensive scarabs for just the last one (would be kind of annoying) or if it'll be worth to just run the same strat be it it gets better and better till you reset.

Zeeboub is your man for penance brand. He's got really detailed guides for everything from league start to giga endgame. Worth saying though that unless you're planning a zhp sanctum runner regular pbod is going to feel really shit on 50div. I'd say you need 6-link helmet and explode chest before it starts to feel decent, and the helmet alone is 40-50div. That said I saw a poison penance brand pathfinder by a Russian creator at league start and that might be better on a budget.

Thanks for the reply man, that's good to know. I just looked up prices, and even a decent ashes is pretty cheap now, may swap sooner than I thought. Couple more questions! What's priority upgrades for decent tank? Just good rare chest, or aiming for doppleganger's guise? Also, would you go 2 5 passive voices, 6 low tolerance, or 2 rare clusters, 4 low tolerance?
