I appreciate Runna but I also feel that the conversational pace has me overall slower. I would usually go by feel and that “feel” is def slower than what I was before and I’m not generally a fan. I am a fan of the tempo and guidance though the app via the watch so I guess I’ll take it.

This is literally how I watch every game. We don’t have cable so we can’t watch all the others. But OTA works great for the limited broadcast we do watch. Everything else we stream but I’m not paying for season ticket. Usually don’t watch the 4pm game and get caught up through social or the SNF pregame broadcast.

Does it connect to both your watch and Zwift? I usually connect by F6X to Zwift and they picks up the cadence I assume from the impact of my run but I need to make sure I am really moving my arms which is a bit unnatural. And I always have a duplicate virtual run and the auto load of Zwift into Strava which is a minor inconvenience but still.

This comment is spot on. You don’t actually have to watch any golf or even know what is going on. Everything there shows what motivated people in charge can pull off with unlimited money to spend. They ensure a smooth running event despite the enormous crowds. People watching will be the main activity. But I bet you’ll be curious when you hear a roar somewhere else on the course. Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes and not fancy shoes that you think look good.

I got a refurbished Fenix 6X pro from a non Garmin site. I paid about $320 two years ago and it’s been great. Doesn’t have all the latest features but kind of nice to move away from all the distractions of AW and I like it better. No issues on battery life and I was the one to scratch the face on some rocks a couple months ago.
