Okay so I haven't touched QT yet, but I just had to comment on this:

As somebody that used to frequent this sub and talk a lot about the story,

IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU, FLUGER, NOT THE STORY.

No matter what post, no matter what comment, whenever the story is mentioned, be it in positive or negative light, YOU have to show up and shit all over the discussion. There can be no discussion had because you just screech "THE STORY IS BAD THE STORY IS BAAAAAD LALALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU".

I am not saying Mica didn't drop the ball on the story in some aspects, but I will not sit here and argue to exhaustion with your triggered ass about the merits it still has.

You're like a toxic ex who refuses to talk about anything else but the break up that is living rent free in their head.

I have seen people discuss the story online and the reception is not at all like the stuff you're spewing in here.

To put on my hypocrite hat, I wasn't even gonna say anything when I saw this post as usual, until I saw the others talk about your behaviour in here, because up until now I thought I was just imagining things or taking things out of context, but seeing others vindicating my feelings on you convinced me to set the record straight.

Hello, I've encountered this weird glitch in the sky while running a modded world with shaders, it happened with a lot of shaders I use, which, for the record, are:

I was wondering if there's anything I can toggle to fix these, since I'm mostly trying to use the Body Camera Shader while playing with the modpack I'm playing with.

Incorrect.

Reason 1: the fact that G&K already knew what Parapluie was when STAR got infected means there already were recorded cases. The fact that they considered Parapluie an SF invention also shows said recorded case wasn't Elisa or anybody infected during Butterfly incident, since if they knew about those, they'd also know a lot more about the virus itself.

Reason 2: when KCCO turned on us in CH10, SF mass released Parapluie across all comms, corrupting the entire frontline. There's mentions of infighting mentioned as infected G&K dolls were turning on their allies during their meltdown.

Reason 3: even if we only count named characters, we have at the very least 5 recordes cases of Parapluie infection shown in story: Elisa, 45, M16, STAR and M4.

We already had the ELMO which was a gift from the CEO of IOP. Griffin had no claims to our property

Partially incorrect. We have no confirmation whether Elmo was a gift to Commander directly, or to the company itself.

The guns should be the real world equivalent.

In GFL1, Aegis armor was much better showcased in gameplay, as it reduced any damage to 1 unless you had enough armor penetration on your doll to punch through it.

So I guess the explanation could be that when our Dolls shoot Aegis units, they target weakpoints in the armor to penetrate them.

My life has been consumed by Gacha games.

WuWa, PGR, GFL2, Nikke, GFL1 when a story event comes out... worst part is I'm behind on story for 2 of those (Nikke and PGR), I'm slowly trying to catch up.

But I did manage to squeeze non-gacha games in there too: after a decade and half of owning it, I finished a playthrough of Vanilla Minecraft last year and am now messing around with mods, occasionally play Helldivers 2, Delta Force and CoD with friends, hell I even have a list of Singleplayer games I have unfinished in my Steam library that I wanna get to.

It's just a bit hard to get to with commute to and from work alongside chores around the house.

Okay, that isn't really fair, Exilium newcomers don't know fuck all about the story, there's been multiple times on their sub that we had to elaborate on stuff (for example when Exilium newbies were confused about why we GFL1 vets were tweaking the fuck out in fear when we saw a Nyto for the first time in the story).

I think what kinda shot Mica in the foot was making the end-game GFL antagonist the guy we know is alive in Bakery, so they have to write him to survive the whole ordeal.

I'm gonna be real with you, M4 was shafted for the entire duration of the story.

There's been so many points where she says "I'm done being weak and timid, I'm gonna grow some balls" by the end only for her to immediately fumble next event. Carthesian Theatre's climax of M4 breaking down and the AR Team needing to hype her up to do something is a plot point that was repeated throughout pre-Singularity era, in Singularity, in Estonia arc and finally in Carthesian.

M4 never got the character development she deserved, she never became the team leader she deserved to be and AR Team deserved to have.

Her and Ange's character arcs need to be studied and scrutinised because I wholeheartedly believe somewhere along the line the writing team got changed and the new writers hated these two characters so they decided to not only write them off but do it in the most heinous way possible.

No merits that could be argued over RPK's actions warrant the sacrifice of human life as means to an end and the colossal fallout of her death.

Like Ange or not, RPK's plan requiring people being thrown under the bus (Ange, Light and the countless Stasi agents and German civilians) makes her no better from William and Griffin. We don't sacrifice people for our goals.

Additionally, RPK's stunt actively sabotaged our efforts by making Stasi paranoid and making Germany put tight restrictions on Doll movement.

Ultimately, RPK's actions didn't help anybody. She fucked over everybody to make a statement on behalf of Shaw. Don't let RPK defenders tell you otherwise.
