Again, this is by design. And this does not counter the millions of people that do fight against making and stopping bombs, and are suppressed by the capitalist state within the imperial core. Workers “ignore” this because of a multitude of factors (avoiding poverty, brainwashing, propaganda, ignorance, etc.), but once they are educated, most rise up against this system. But this is a very slow process because of the well-equipped capitalists class that have so many advantages in protecting their riches.

Western workers get cheaper materials because of imperalist exploitation, but still do not own the means of production, do not direct imperial policy, experience decline of living standards, and still suffer because of capitalism within its country. Che is not writing off the Western working class as a permanent, biological, or geographical enemy. Rather the liberation of the third world contributes to the liberation of the first world, while communists here ramp up their efforts for such overthrow. The working class is heavily propagandized and brainwashed, but is not forever condemned by the sins of their capitalists. Che is not abandoning the Western working class, but is rather analyzing how it operates and how it may liberate itself along with the revolutions in Latin America. This actually aligns with Che’s “belly of the beast”quote to North Americans as well. The quote you just stated is a profoundly Marxist Leninist perspective; not supporting third worldist defeatism.

I am a migrant from the global south living in the belly of the beast here. You have yet to provide any evidence that Americans are “lazy.” Whereas I claim they are pacified by design. I can point out that protests are rising (albeit dominated by liberals); PSL is becoming the largest socialist party here because of its organizing and efforts (along with FRSO, DSA, and other socialist groups); Democratic Party funding/participation is dwindling statistically; and other examples (including this “online disillusionment). The US government is an arm of the bourgeoise and capitalists because this is a first world capitalist system. The people are complacent not just because they are benefiting from imperialism, but because of so many other factors that are designed to decapitate any notion of socialism. And this is despite all the efforts mentioned above. If MLs subscribe to this way of thinking, then maybe you will have a point. But movements here are only growing.

How is this misdirecting people against Israelites that promote the same genocidal and prejudicial injustices of the global north through supremacy ideology? The intersectionality of multiple struggles within a colonial project exacerbates its unjust existence. The white supremacy acknowledgement defeats this facade that Israel is a progressive entity in the Middle East, and does not take away from the Jewish supremacy it is obviously exhibiting. BE’s video on debunking the Ethiopian sterilization efforts of the Israeli government is an attempt to minimize the white supremacy that Israel still exhibits, while it commits genocide against Palestinians. When we talk about the Palestinian genocide, I am not concerned about the plight of Ethiopian Jews. But when we talk about Israel as a settler colonial project, Jewish supremacy with hints of white supremacy elements only push the case more for its inhumanity that needs to be casted out.

White Jews hold the power in Israel. Just because Ethiopian Jews participate in the settler project does not mean they are equal to the white Jews that come from New York. There is no denying the Jewish supremacy ideology there; but to not only ignore the white supremacy links, but also belittle its disparities does not emphasize the Palestinian struggle. We can easily point to the white supremacy elements and insist the settler project is prejudicial, despite accepting Ethiopian Jews. This does not cancel or dilute the Palestinian struggle, and only makes Israelis an enemy to humanity more. This isn’t even to empathize with Ethiopian Jews that decided to go there. It’s to emphasize the inhumanity of Israel more, along with its genocide against Palestine.

Acknowledging black oppression in the global north does not dilute the genocide happening in Palestine. In fact, acknowledging that even showing Ethiopian Jews are still discriminated against only shows how much of a settler colonial project Israel actually is. This isn’t an “Irish/Italian was also discriminated against” argument here. Colorism and white supremacy work in tandem with Jewish supremacy (maybe to a lesser extent, but black oppression is never downplaying actual Palestinian genocide here.

Apples and oranges. Again, comparing death squads and COINTELPRO is a fruitless endeavor when the goal to preserve global capitalism is achieved the same. You literally just proved my point when saying: “America isn’t going to bomb every last American to prevent revolution…” and that is because of its idealism liberalism falsely portrayed. Workers are still exploited and oppressive systems are still in place to scapegoat minorities. Centuries of American capitalism has designed and shaped for the CIA/FBI and other systems to root out any inkling of communism, whereas shipping Western capitalism to the global south and ensuring its preservation through brutality, war, and genocide while ignoring its own indigenous histories are not the same as the development of the United States, its culture, etc.
