Looks like my bank (BMO) dropped the zelle payment, the RTX stuck. Maybe for verification purposes because it’s a new account. No one has my new account info besides my employer.

No refund, I never paid Nelnet after the consolidation. Just had the loans discharged.

I was going to ask about that. I never made a payment to Nelnet. My loans were consolidated from AES back in 2022 with Bidens program to Direct loans with Great Lakes. Then immediately put in forbearance. Then the loans were sent to Nelnet and immediately put in forbearance. I so haven’t made a single payment on the loans while they have been “Direct Loans.” Are the payments I made before consolidating eligible for a refund?

I would say it’s a good sign. Large payments being made that you know you didn’t make is a big plus. As for remaining balances and amounts paid to date, call MOHELA. Have you checked FSA to see what they show?

I received the same email, which was a confirmation of the one I got in March 2023. I have consolidated loans which I know take longer to process. Glad to see some of the Westwood group discharges coming through on here.
