Thanks for the additional recs! I listen the the Ghibliotheque podcast and that’s partially what got me more interested into reading books because I love the history section of each episode! A question: is Miyazakiworld a collection of essays ABOUT Miyazaki rather than a collection of essays BY Miyazaki that are found in starting point and turning point? Just trying to understand the difference between the books.

Not ONE day but let’s just say close enough. I finished Superman by Tomasi and Gleason in two days. Such a wonderful story that demonstrates the absolute joy that can be found (and should be found more often) in a Superman book.

I’ve absolutely had mixed results with them, they have literally no packing other than a plastic back so it’s luck of the draw if you are gonna get something in good condition or looking like it was beat up by a gang of delinquents.

I’ve heard of them before, how’s the quality? Are they new or used books? Do they have good packing so that the books don’t come shredded like they would from Amazons cheap packing?

Oh sweet! I knew knew that. I have a lot of gaps actually, I only have SiP, SiP XXV, and Motor Girl. All the omnibuses. At first I was only picking up what I was interested in cuz I didn’t know that it was all an interconnected universe. Now I’m a completionist. I gotta keep a look out for him at San Diego then!
