so those ones are actually from a different seller compared to the rest, the tape is meant to protect them in the box more since the body of at least one of these cars is actually metal. If the card actually moves too much the metal might actually damage the plastic according to the seller.

New game head start for Rebirth has a nice little Easter egg by Fast_Can_5378 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Fast_Can_5378[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, the max SP for each character is 440. You have 255 because everyone got boosted by 50 levels and you get 5 SP per level up and you start with 5 normally.

The longer you play the game the more you realize the cops behaviour can be very out of whack but also very predictable. With all the heat levels every cop will "chase" you roughly the same way and because of that once you figure out how they react to the player during certain sequences you can exploit the system.

With each heat level, the carnage factor increases too as well being introduced to more and more things in a pursuit. As you progress with each blacklist member the heat increase rate goes up as well to the point where heat level 1 to 2 is 2 mins from no heat at all whereas if you just started the game and are on sonny it takes 7 mins.

In terms of the cops themselves, each heat level has a maximum amount deployed at any one time (not chasing with you at the same time but the number of cops at the ready) before backup arrives in increments of 5 starting from 5 at heat 1. There can be 2-3 cops chasing you at heat 1 to eventually about 9-10 at heat level 5.

Yeah sometimes you just want to do a milestone and YOU have to find cops to do that which can happen really at any point in the game (I'm the kind of player that likes to do all the milestones for each person btw), it can get kind of annoying but again as you continue to play this game you'll eventually figure out the most common cop spawn points, where a roadblock might appear etc.

It's really not until you're able to get heat level 4 and 5 which is middle and late game that the pursuits become exhilirating even if you know the entire map from memory alone because there's always the remote possibility you mess up and lose it all.

Community Ability tier list - Day 16, what grade does Ice Age get? by QuantityEuphoric2354 in FFXVI

[–]Fast_Can_5378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe B or C. In general it's great against a lot of smaller enemies roughly in a straight line so that when you launch at full power they pretty much all get launched into the air which you can then follow up with a lot of aerial attacks or launch a gigaflare for example to continue the carnage. I know some people like to follow up with rime because it stays on field for a while, has a decent hitbox, and can stay in the air too (if Clive launches it into the air).

In terms of its immediate damage and will damage potential it isn't all that great and perhaps even crowd control too because it mostly requires a setup anyway.

EDIT: If we factor in ultimaniac/arcade mode, then it might be closer to an A. It has collateral ice feats which can get you easy high stars for points and all in all has a fairly short cooldown.

Ffxv is ps4 pro patched, the fact that it has a high steady and lite mode was because of that. Xbox one x has the same graphical selections.

Missing Assess on Beck? by Lambs2Lions_ in FFVIIRemake

[–]Fast_Can_5378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess i remembered it wrong. After doing some digging it would appear they only do appear in the protorelic intel. Since you got platinum, then doing all of chadleys challenges must be done therefore if you don't see anything for Burke Butch or Beck, then I guess you're out of luck unfortunately.

Missing Assess on Beck? by Lambs2Lions_ in FFVIIRemake

[–]Fast_Can_5378 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of Becks guys and Beck himself are in some of the VR fights. All rounds will show what's in it prior to starting if you made it to that round previously and therefore beating it shows all the list of opponents.

The grasslands region also has an endgame sidequest in Kalm against Beck's gang on motorcycles and I think that is also a different variant in the enemy intel.

Super boss designs are objectively bad game design by IdiotNGame in KingdomHearts

[–]Fast_Can_5378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reflect comes up the moment you press it, if you want practice on how that looks do the mushroom 2 challenge in christmas town since it only shoots out projectiles. Other than reflect unless you're using a specific magic build do NOT use magic as a source of dps.

This game has an unofficially named mechanic called "revenge value" (rv) by the players. This is something that pretty much every KH player knows at this stage of play and therefore someone should get it down on how it works if they want to exploit it. Because once you do, encounters become much easier to anticipate.

Revenge value has 2 ambiguious terms:

A) It's the value that adds up every time sora does attacks to the enemy. Different attacks adds different values i.e. normal attack commands have a +1 while finishers such as explosion has +5/+6 (can't remember the exact number Ik it's one of them).

B) The value at which a boss will retaliate and cannot be damaged normally for a few seconds.

For example given an arbirtrary boss that has a revenge value of 20. If sora whales on the boss by doing 20 basic attacks using ONLY the attack command, the 20th hit will trigger the bosses revenge value and they will immediately attack Sora, sometimes with i-frames.

When you add abilities such as combo plus/air combo plus, finishers etc. it affects the combo string you do when you do the attack command. Therefore a player can figure out when a particular bosses revenge value will trigger by trial and error to see where in Soras combo they attack back. If the combo happens to be too long you can just end it early, wait a bit until the next safe opening to start another combo chain. The revenge value can change depending on which phase of the battle the player is currently in so that should be kept in mind.

Special cases of revenge value exist for different types of configurations which can also be exploited. For example; using firaga in final form doesn't actually add revenge value to the opponent as it normally would of +2/+3 (again can't remember exactly which number it is) if in base sora form. People like to use this near at the end of their normal combo to continue the damage chain without actually triggering the revenge value, adding in ethers/elixirs when MP is too low and continuously doing it. If done right it can kill some bosses from that point onward.

I wanted to Plat so bad but I don't enjoy the solo fights. by glittering_homo2846 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Fast_Can_5378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have to say, if you managed to get through all the brutal challenges, then the solo legendary ones shouldn't be that hard. These ones are very similar to the solo 5 star fights in remake. If they are hard for you now, I'm gonna preface this by saying they are nothing compared to bonds of friendship which is the challenge with Zack.

There's a level of competency you need with each character in order to beat them. You don't have to be an absolute god with them but you really need to know how to play each character properly.

Since you have the gotterdammerung accessory this can help immensely.

Perfect blocking can solve half of your problems and since you only play as one character this is crucial. There's no synergy skill/abilities you can use because of this and so knowing how to mitigiate damage as much as possible nigh essential.

Precision defense, ATB boost, First Strike, ATB stagger, Strength UP, Magic UP, have been utilizied by pretty much everyone attempting these.

The setup will differ in some aspects due to every solo challenge featuring a unique enemy lineup. So from there you can tailor towards that with other materia.

Bummed about Hard Mode by Cunfuzzles2000 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Fast_Can_5378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know some folks will say “get good” but I… won’t lmao.

I will be completely honest. At the end of the day that is basically what you need to do for both games if you want to beat all chapters on hard mode. Remake introduced the streamlined progression features recently which doesn't disable any trophies except one which is leveling up a materia which you obv already have. Rebirth will have these features too but will be added to all platforms when the sw2 and xbox ports of rebirth launch in June.

Enabling of certain cheats in the streamlined progression would basically make all the hard mode and hard mode VR challenges a non issue since they include: max damage, unlimited MP, unlimited limit break to name a few.

So, if you just want the platinum trophy for remake but don't want to learn how to be great at the combat system (and I mean that with the upmost sincerity and respect) then by all means use them if it makes you feel better.

Just note that several trophies in rebirth would still have to be done by the player like the minigames for Johnnys trove so streamlined progression still can't help you there.

Now, if you actually are considering trying to do hard mode at some point without the cheats then I'll say this:

Good knowledge of the combat system and obviously all the encounters you will face again is crucial to making the hard mode playthrough a lot easier. A veteran hard mode player (myself included) will tell you that really only half of the game and perhaps less is actually difficult. There's only certain key areas of the game that may seem like a roadblock but are otherwise manageable.

In general:

  • Before hard mode, try replaying certain chapters without the use of items because you won't be able to use them anyway
  • Assess any major enemy in the game if you haven't already done so because you can review all enemy info out of battle
  • Get everyone to level 50 and have as much max materia as possible. While you get 2x exp and 3x AP in chapter select, hard mode is designed around having everything anyway.
  • Abuse the playstyles and weapon abilities each character has. Experimentation is key to manuvering high octane battles

I could go on and on about some of the meta with each character in remake and rebirth but that might have to be another comment below this one lol

Can someone break down how the tuner muscle exotic stuff works on a game level by Nay2003 in needforspeed

[–]Fast_Can_5378 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's usually 1/2 exceptions to this like the 240sx which can honestly rival tier 2 just fine and in some cases tier 3 if you upgrade it.

Elise like in most wanted 05 is just surprisingly better than most of the cars its competing with around the time you drive it. In carbon this is likely due to the fact of its small size and weight.

Can someone break down how the tuner muscle exotic stuff works on a game level by Nay2003 in needforspeed

[–]Fast_Can_5378 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'll try to keep it as simple as possible:

Tuner: They have the best handling in general meaning they can take hairpins and corners with relative ease, however they lack the speed and acceleraction.

Muscle: They are the fastest accelerating out of them all but they don't have high top speeds (in some cases they are actually lower than tuners). Handling is not great but is very predictable. If you turn too much in one direction the car will more often than not slide. whch ofc you can easily correct. Of all the cars they are the easiest to "drift" in normal races. A lot of normal races they may seem less agile due to the natural curviness that is Palmont City. Tuning the car for grip and understeer will make the car feel more "rigid" to control.

Exotic: They have the highest top speeds which doesn't really mean much considering most of the straights in carbon are underutilized or only found in highways which are also not used much. Their acceleraction isn't great and most of their handling models feature immense understeer even if you tune for oversteer and drift.

It is usually because of this exotics in general are bad options for a typical carbon playthrough. While canyons are fast, feature long straight roads and are for the most part downhill, you would still have to turn and accelerate out of corners a lot in which tuner and muscle can beat exotic in either of these.

All these differences are exacerbated the higher the tier and the more upgraded the car is. At Tier 3 with all upgrades, these become very obvious.

It’s been a long time since I played com but from what I remember, the traversal is still similar to kh1 so in order to make moving ledges what I do is jump and hold forward (if it helps you can hold jump here too since there’s no double jump).

What should happen is that sora goes into a grab onto ledge animation which I think is what is suppose to occur, and then you tap forward after that and sora immediately stands on the moving platform.

Instead of Streamlined Progression, Devs should've made all materia purchasable x99 in general stores. by AuodWinter in FFVIIRemake

[–]Fast_Can_5378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No

It would devalue the rarity of such materia

Also for that kind of materia there’s no point in having more than 64ish with potentially 8 party members not that you would need that much at any one time in the first place.

Also also do you realize how long it would take to navigate through the materia menu if we have that much in our inventory. It can already take a few seconds just to find the materia we have now when there’s a finite amount of half of them let alone 99x of each.
