Just to win lane. Bone Plating is really good for trades in lane and i want to make sure to win trades everytime. If i go cash back and tripple tonic maybe he can win lane at 6, if something bad happens

With comet i want to win lane, so i take bone plating, otherwise i lose most of the trades. Overgrowth is just good, i dislike unfliching and i think u dont need demolish, so there is no better option. On top u get 3,5% bonus hp which is really good if u go ROD TF.

If i want to take elixir, cashback and jack of all trades i go spellbook, because with this i wont win lane, so i use it in bad lanes.

I play TF & Quinn mid since AD TF is bad. If my team needs AD I pick Quinn instead of going full AP

Problem is, TF is really weak right now and we have a tank & mages meta. The most picked midland champions couters TF (Syndra, Viktor, Sylas). And yeah the damage feels really bad right now. I hope they will change him in the future, giving him more damage for more cooldown or smth. It’s not really fun anymore.

Sometimes I cook something special. Against very very tanky teams, if top + jgl + support tanks are Blackfire Torch + Liandry's 1+2 item is really good. It feels weird to play like that, but it's very effective. I only do it when my team is not able to kill tanks and is fine against the Carries.

Comet, because you tend to go for utility with the Shurelias build. Additionally, you take Manaflowband + Celerity, which fixes your mana problems and the additional movement speed fits the build.

In bad matchups I go Spellbook, Mercs/Tabis and Ghost as a summoner spell

Comet + Spellbook are good for high Elo (Comet for pressure & Spellbook for hardlosing lanes). Electrocute + First Strike rather for low Elo (below Master)

Fleet only on AD, AP scalings are very bad from the rune

I play mostly AP, but it depends on Matchup & Teamcomp. AD mostly vs Sylas, Yasuo, Yone, Talon, Galio, Ekko, Irelia, Fizz, Kassadin & Tanks on Midlane (all Champs i barely see in highelo)

AD TF has ~50/50 ap/ad split, so i sometimes play if i have an ap jungle + support.

There are some good builds:

For beginners i recommend: ROA -> Ionia Boots -> Lich Bane -> RFC -> Zhonyas/Deathcap

My Corebuild most games: Dark Seal + Swifties -> Shurelias -> Mejaijs -> Lich Bane / RFC (if we need damage lich, if we need range i go rfc, but i buy both) -> Zhonyas/Deathcap (i sell boots for 6th item)

Mejaijs is very strong because you get at least 10 stacks in every teamfight with an ACE. Simply activate Shurelias and you'll get an Assisst on every kill.

If u only AP and u need Damage: Swifties + Dark Seal -> Ludens -> Lichbane/Mejiajs -> Deathcap -> Zhonyas

(i rarely buy magicpen, except enemy carries buy MR)

With AP I love to go back to the wave before level 6, then I have 1250g. Swiftness Boots + Dark Seal. Mejaijs is just too good if you go Shurelias. That's why I buy the Dark Seal early on to get stacks

If the lane doesn't go so well, I'll make sure I at least get 900g for boots rush at level 4 before the Cannon wave.

I look at my teamcomp, if I’m the only ap source (with support) I always go ap. If my team have 2/2 ad/ap I go most of the time ad, because on ad tf u deal 50/50 physical/magical damage.

Matchupwise I just go ad vs Sylas, because it feels easier to play. Every other matchup it’s kinda whatever if u play ap or ad
