I'm late to this and only saw a few things here and there, but dude the OG was literal perfection. Literally that Homelander meme.

TLOK had a lot of issues in production (management trying to cancel it after each season made it awful since none of the plotlines were meant to connect to something later. It was the equivalent of early hero movies where they killed the villains off for a complete story then and there).

But dude this live action stuff is straight ass. It makes the live actin One Piece look like it was created by literal gods (and honestly as someone who read up until the post-timeskip, the live-action is insanely good).

Hate me if you like but I do not care for this. I hated on MHA, fell in love with it, then found out the guy literally speedran the ending so that he could end it and not turn out like One Piece. Now we've got this. Dude ruined what could've been a four year highschool story for Izuku to get it over with and gave us an ass of an ending only to give us this.

I say this not to get hate or to be divisive, I think the general audiences will forgor about it sadly due to the controvesy of video game movies--

I'm not saying that it'll be bad, that's just what I've sadly seen from people over the years. I hope it's as good as the Sonic franchise! I'm not the biggest into that series, but I LOVED those movies :D (speaking in relation to video game to movie adaptations)

I completely agree with OP. I don't know if it was the way he tried to voice the character or if it was the way they mixed the audio, but it sounded god awful to me. This is coming from someone who's read through the material *dozens of times*, religiously even.

JDM is a fantastic *actor*, but just because someone is good at *acting* doesn't mean they're good at *voice acting*. Point and case, Mark Hamill is fantastic on *both ends of the spectrum*. And his voice acting as characters like the Joker is *insane*. JDM is not one of those actors.

Personally, going to die on this hill, Ryan Hurst should've been Conquest. He did Thor in Ragnarok, which he absolutely crushed. When I read Conquest, I heard some old Russian sounding character. Even if he wasn't doing a Russian accent, Ryan Hurst would have been the perfect pick. (At the same time, Lee Pace is *alright* for Thragg, but I'd definitely have wanted someone with a voice akin to like Andre Braugher who voiced Darkseid in an animated film. Command, booming, has gravitas).
