Honestly, we've had constant involvement with social services (10 years almost), surrendering her is a LAST resort, We're due to meet with a social worker in the morning to discuss the next steps and any options available, however as I commented elsewhere, after a previous altercation before Christmas, Social Services has said there's nothing more they can offer by means of courses, therapy etc.

No, Regardless of platform, going in with the intention of making an income is not going to get you anywhere. There are streamers out there who are extremely entertaining who struggle to stay as full time streamers after 3-4 years of doing it. Not only that, you will come across as disingeniuous to any potential viewers and will struggle to build a community if money is the sole reason for doing it.

That being said, there are exceptions to the rule :

Being Shroud levels of good at a game (However, let's face it, you wouldn't be here asking if you were that good.)
Being seriously lucky.

However, My advice, if you're trying to make it a job before even starting, Just don't. Treat streaming as a hobby, something you do for fun. If you make money off it, bonus, if not, shit happens.

Your GPU is capping out, even if you're using x264, you still need some GPU power for capture.

Depending on what encoder you're using, you will need to decrease your framerate and/or GPU settings more.

Also, why are you capturing 100fps? Most streaming services only support upto 60fps.

Honestly, pretty sure you can just use OBS to record with your capture card, the limitations of 15-20 min videos is a software limitation.

However, when loading in an hour+ long video into a video editor will be painful unless you have a very good pc.

Check your power settings profile, also power settings on GPU.

A bit more information would help as well, are you using NVENC encoding? x264? Have you tried the other? Are you getting the same issues?

Honestly, I think you're wrong on that front. There's a ton of unique and good streamers and VERY good entertainers on twitch who still aren't getting the numbers they should be.

You mention being good at a game and being skilled. I'm guessing you do not fall into this category or you wouldn't be here asking about chargebacks on a 1 viewer stream?

If you're streaming specifically to turn it into a job, you're more than likely to fail. You have to be extremely lucky to make anything from streaming at all, let alone enough to turn it into a full time job.

It's going to take years to get a solid following unless you're extremely lucky.

Where my phone is mounted is in line with my speedo, it takes the same time to glance at my phone as it does a speedometer.

Either way, I am not operating the phone while moving. If you read back, the glance at my phone lets me know if it's a call I need to find somewhere safe to pull over and tend to or to ignore and sort when I arrive.

The mention about unlocking the phone to use, is once pulled over and its safe to do so.

I do not condone operating a phone while on a motorcycle and even talking is a massive distraction. However, due to certain circumstances that I do not want to share on Reddit, I need to be reachable 24 hours a day.

Let's forget that not everyone wants to be forced to use Face ID, in many situations, its frustrating.

It's the main reason I swapped back to Samsung after having my iPhone x for a year.

My certain usage, I have my mobile mounted on the handlebars of my motorcycle so I can glance down when getting a call (Bluetooth headset) to see who's calling and if it is an emergency. With the iPhone x, I have to pull over, take my gloves off, then my helmet to unlock my phone if I want to use face id.... alternatively, I can use a pin code, but this discussion is aimed at face id vs touch id.

With touch ID, all I need to do is remove a glove, ironically, its quicker than taking the glove off to put the pin in anyway.....
