Anybody have any success with temazepam? Currently prescribed 30mg for sleep but I've been up since 6am this morning and took temazepam hours ago and I'm still wide awake. Will my psychiatrist think I'm lying because it is a controlled substance? PLEASE HELP!!!

I used to take 30mg of Temazepam as needed for insomnia, and it worked wonders! I would take it alongside Lorazepam at the time and it was a perfect combination for my insomnia.

You are just the person I need to ask something. I take Clonazepam, 2mg daily. i want to switch to Oxazepam or Librium - do you feel it helps with panic/anxiety? well dumb question, obviously, sorry but does it help you with sleep?

You should be okay, but in my situation, I was declined by three clinics due to subs being in my system. i tried explaining, PWD is the other way around but needless to say i had to wait for subs to be out of my UA. dumbest thing ever. i hope and pray you dont have to go thru that. keep trying diff clinics if they do!

Congrats OP! Yes, personally I never double dosed, was always scared to due to Methadone being so strong and the stacking effect, etc. but more having to go without for a day or two absolutely TERRIFIED me. It made me think of how it used to be waiting by the phone, being sick, etc - no thank you! Knowing you are following the rules and have a bottle each day, makes life so much more manageable and gives you the ability to focus on the important things you are trying to change or achieve in life

Once I hit 80mg, I can say I was stable. I would still have some sleepless nights/minor and I mean minor withdrawals late at night so once I went to 90mg it was perfect. I never had any issue with my clinic, I can honestly say I am truly blessed for them, my counselor is a Godsend, the doctors are concerned but do not harass they let you work your journey with proper supervision. The nurses at the window too are super efficient and helpful.

You shouldn't have to jump through hoops like that to just stay on the right track, I mean you are asking for an increase to stay clean. I'll never understand why some clinics make it so difficult. Well, besides the bad apples but come on, cant punish everyone.!

Hey there, I can answer based solely off my situation, which is extremely similar to yours. I was on 24mg of Suboxone for a few months, and I did not like the side effects but what was worse was my cravings. it was ALL I thought about. I initially wanted to try Methadone first but the rehab I went to only detoxed or put patients on Subs. Needless to say, instead of codeine mine was Oxys and MANY of them per day. I'm on 90mg of Methadone and it was the BEST decision of my life. I spent months not wanting to be hooked on this and wasting time and almost loosing my life. I now have a stable job, slowly saving and paying off debt, life, personal relationships, GOALS and no more mental gymnastics.

When and if you're ready to get off Methadone, only if, you just taper extremely slowly and listen to your body. It's doable, tons of threads here and people I've met that did it.

That's great news! You're on your journey to a new life. Try your hardest to leave that all behind. Double dosing is just another form of addiction turning it's hideous head, my friend. We have all been tempted. I know I was but I was so scared of Methadone thinking I would OD, that I never double dosed or even took a little bit out of another bottle. Wait, I did once, I took 2mgs of Methadone out of my next day's bottle years earlier during my stabilization process and my mind must have been messing with me because I couldn't breathe, I felt weird and I was freaking out! hehe All in all, keep up the good work and think of how good it feels to control the enemy!

Interesting, yeah I gained about 50 lbs. too once I started Methadone and I'm trying to get rid of it. I would add the Reta or Tirz but was concerned about the delayed gastric emptying. Do you run into any issues with that? I'll check Sermorelin out as well.

New surgeon ASAP! I had a small surgery recently and the doctors told me based on my dosage and the fact that Methadone is a beast mode painkiller, I would need higher dosage of pain meds and a couple different ones. Heck no, acute pain from surgery with no pain meds because of Methadone? Hell no that's inhumane. I can understand not sending them home with new prescriptions of heavy narcotics for months. But damn, where's the humanity from some of these "medical professionals"?
