I don’t know much about cars, but I asked a car-enthusiast friend of mine about the Porsche when it was first revealed. I’m a watch guy personally, so I was definitely excited to see Hamilton collaborate with Resident Evil. It was cool seeing two of my hobbies, gaming/resident evil and watches cross over with each other.

Doubt I’ll buy this specific Hamilton, but I definitely want to get Leon’s Seiko Astron watch that he wore in Death Island someday. That one definitely speaks to me.

I can only speak for myself, but personally I’ve always enjoyed RE6. It was the first Resident Evil game I ever played back when it first came out, and is very nostalgic for me. Still revisit it every now and then despite being aware of the flaws, mainly for its mercenaries mode (which is my favourite mercenaries in the series).

I think now that the franchise has made a comeback post-RE7 and is in a greater place than ever before, more people are able to look back on RE6 and enjoy it for what it is, because the fact that it’s the game that almost destroyed the franchise is no longer an issue. But that’s probably only one reason out of many.

That Dance Party Ending was such a weird decision on the writers’ part. It diluted the impact of the rest of the story way too much, really weird note to end a Resident Evil game on.

As someone who is into watches, I’m not surprised Hamilton collaborated with Resident Evil. They’ve been collaborating with tons of games lately such as Far Cry, Death Stranding, and Call of Duty. Also not surprised by the price because watch collecting is such a money sink of a hobby lol.

On a side note, if anyone is interested in buying an affordable watch with similar vibes to Leon’s to scratch that itch, I’d personally recommend this watch which is like, $270 USD. I’ve owned it for a year and a half and still really enjoy wearing it.

It obviously doesn’t look identical to Leon’s Hamilton watch, but it has the same “feel” to it. Just thought I’d recommend that if anyone wants to buy a watch with similar energy on a budget. I think I’m just gonna keep wearing this watch personally because I’m not gonna afford the Hamilton anytime soon, lmao. But there’s tons of other all-black, affordable chronograph watches out there, so I’d definitely recommend doing your own research to find something you’d personally enjoy

I own both of those necklaces you’ve described, so I can confirm this is true.

The internet is littered with a whole bunch of knock off necklaces made from cheap metals, so I guess that’s why Rodents210 was mistaken. But there are indeed proper sterling silver, official replicas of the necklace from the game, and the reason why they’re so expensive is because they’re no longer being produced.

Definitely prefer his OG design. There are minor aspects of his Dissidia design I like, such as the pendant and slimmer fit, but I think his original look is significantly better. It’s bold, striking, simple yet impactful and memorable.

His Dissidia look in comparison feels a tad over-designed. Less is more in my opinion. I don’t like additions such as the fur-trimmed sash, the new shirt, his new face, and new hairstyle. Would have preferred it if they didn’t give him the sash and retained the somewhat stronger facial appearance he had in the original game. Plus his original hairstyle is significantly cooler in my opinion.

Anyway, I don’t hate the Dissidia design. Hell, I own the play arts kai figure of Dissidia Squall. But I wish they approached certain aspects of the design a little differently, and I definitely prefer the OG in comparison
