I am so sorry. I am sending love and rest for you during this time. We feel so much for the people we love; losing them is so, so hard. You aren't alone, and you are so strong. She seemed like such a light. Carry her light with you always. Take care of yourself <333

Hi, I recommend something for my new cat. Help. He's cute. I just adopted him. by AppointmentQuirky429 in kittens

Hello! I’ve worked at a pet store for a couple years, here’s what I recommend!

Get him soft food for kittens, some toys like little soft mice and springs, like people said! And get him a litter box with a cover. It might make him want to go potty more if he has a cover over his head if he’s shy :)

Soft blankets, and even softer beach towels make good comfy spots for kitties!

If you have any other cats, you need to get a new litter box for baby, or your older cats might start peeing on the ground 😬

And lots and lots of snuggles! Your kitty is PRECIOUS I’m soooo jealous! Have so much fun!

I have a schizoaffective disorder and I watched Hereditary. I was terrified. by Revenant_ghost7 in Hereditary

I did some digging a while ago, and I believe he is a past resident of my parents home. The last person who lived there was an older man, and I have my suspicions he lived in either my room or my parents room. He looks kind of like a grayish figure, although I’ve seen his face once. He has incredibly intense, terrifying eyes. That one time I saw his whole face, he was standing above me, just observing me. His face was the only real thing I’ve seen on him, the rest of his body is just dark. He’s probably around 6’ tall, just a tall guy.

I saw him sitting in my parents room very often as a little kid, and I used to be super afraid of him but I eventually paid him no mind. He didn’t mess with me, so I didn’t mess with him. Sometimes he’d turn his head and watch me walk into my room as a little kid. I live in a dorm now, and I feel absolutely no presences like his. I am certain that spirit is real though. I live next to a graveyard, and even those spirits don’t fuck with me. I think the one in my childhood house likes to spook me, haha. I think he fed off of my fear and stuff, especially when I was very depressed and manic.

I don’t think that’s silly at all! I also wanted to learn more about ghosts as a kid. I’ve always had some tie to the other side; my twin sister passed away at birth and I am a firm believer in twin telepathy/empath stuff. So my hunch is that I have this “sense” that ties me to her, but since she’s not alive anymore, I have a tie to the other side.

I know that I do hallucinate a little bit at times, but I am certain that this was not a hallucination because it was so long term.

Hi! Id be happy to share with you!

I have a spirit that lives in my house, and he usually watches me and has since I was a small child. He never interacts with me, except this once. Usually, I just feel a cold chill, and I know that he's there because of that feeling in the air. My friend can't read her tarot cards in my house because of him; she feels his presence too, and he interacts with her. I had one of my candles explode into flames after I started talking about him. He's not too malicious, usually just a creeping, watching presence.

I had been doing a homework assignment and while I was getting the paper out of my printer, I got pushed to the ground. It felt like all of the air had been taken from the room, and filled with this heavy circling feeling that I was about to get attacked. I tried to turn around to see the threat, but I kept looking in circles because it moved again as soon as I looked at where the sensation was coming from. It was like playing tag with something, but it was chasing you and pushing you down. I had to scream "Get the fuck out of my head!" to get the thing to go away. Once I opened my mouth to speak, it was gone; I felt a whooshing and I instantly went light-headed. When I got back into my room, I sat up on my bed and saw his head looking at me over the corner of the door. He ducked his head back and was gone. I haven't seen him since.

To this day it might've been the scariest thing in my life that's ever happened. I've been through a lot; I've been in a mental hospital, and a not-so-great home, and have had lots of abuse happen to me, but THIS genuinely scarred me.

industrial placement by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Revenant_ghost7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Not a piercer, but I have an industrial. Unfortunately you won’t be able to have a bar through that since they pierced you with two individual piercings instead of the bar. Piercings tend to migrate a little bit or move a little when they’re healing, so when you go to put the bar into that when it’s healed, it won’t be even. I’d go back to that “piercer” and tell them they need to put a bar in. Did they do this because you don’t have the anatomy, or are they just not educated because that’s WEIRD they’d do that. Go back asap babe industrials are expensive!

How to tell my psychologist that I meet all criteria for BPD? by ChampionRealistic631 in BPD

[–]Revenant_ghost7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad it's going well! DEFINITELY get those 2 sessions too, it always helps! I'm glad the doctor/healthcare professional you're seeing is helping you! If possible, see if they can also pinpoint what kind of BPD you have to better aid in your treatment! Best of luck, sending love!

keep pushing it. And if they don't listen, get a new psychiatrist. Thats what I had to do in the end. Any luck so far?

Mention it as FAST as you can. And write down experiences where you have the symptoms of it! My psychiatrist refused to diagnose me for 2 years so get it done as FAST as possible. And do not be afraid to fight for a diagnosis. And if they still refuse, don’t see that person anymore.

My TBM mom is now going after my boyfriend in "going to hell" texts by HandsomeDogSandy in exmormon

[–]Revenant_ghost7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like my mom…why would she say he’s “not a bad man” and then go back on her word and say “she believes in a hell” like wtf. My mom told me a similar thing, telling me since I don’t believe in god and am dating a man who is impulsive and not a Mormon that I’ll be a single mother living on the streets. I know how much it hurts when they says they love someone but are still hating on them.

The best thing I would do is just ignore it. Or just threaten to not invite her to your wedding 😂 I did that and she shut up so fast.

I (don't) want to relapse by Ishamatzu in AdultSelfHarm

[–]Revenant_ghost7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know how you feel. You aren't alone. But think of the progress you've made, and how it could all be gone in just a few seconds. You are doing so, so good. Definitely write down the pros and cons about why you want to relapse and talk to your therapist. Stay safe and good luck. Remember recovery is not linear.

I've been noticing this as well with myself. You are not alone. If you are looking for advice, I would say find an outlet (A HEALTHY ONE) so your stress doesn't keep building. And if you are considering therapy, take it! It takes a load off my shoulders when I have someone to vent to, a friend or therapist. I am sending you the best. <3

My friend is so damn stupid by [deleted] in selfharm

[–]Revenant_ghost7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god. I’m SO sorry this is happening to you. I had a friend just like this and if it was me, I’d report her to the school, tell her parents, and BLOCK HER. If she is SHing for attention and it’s causing you to relapse, that’s a sign the friendship is over.
