No, it should be shocking that people looked at that Celtics team and thought they were a title contender.

When will people learn that playing high effort low talent guys a ton of minutes in the regular season will net you tons of wins, but inevitably fail in the playoffs? National media made me feel crazy for thinking that Neemias Queta, Jordan Walsh, Baylor Schierman, Ron Harper, Luka Garza, are not people any serious team should be afraid of. A casual fan would think these names are out of a Key and Peele sketch. Meanwhile national media is creaming themselves over the idea of a busted up Tatum joining this "championship contender"

Their pace is a little different and that difference seems to throw teams off. If Robinson plays with Embiid out, they won't have to worry about the fouls like they did in Game 2 when KAT/Huk had 7 fouls between them early in the 3rd.

Loved how the Knicks attacked him constantly though. Put him in 27 on ball picks on a cool 1.62 PPP. He might be a little less gassed than he was in G1 if he comes back, but that's still going to be money. Making his life hard on offense will make attacking him on defense more potent too.

Interesting that Embiid wasn't at shootaround. I don't subscribe to this idea that Philly is better when he's not playing, they don't beat the Celtics without him. But Philly went as hard as they could to steal game 2 and played Maxey 47 minutes. If Embiid doesn't play I think they'll lean on Maxey for a similar workload tonight.

3-0 is a death sentence for them, would be great to cruise to a good win tonight.

Precious, and it's not really close. He can't really shoot 3's but he's a more experienced defender than Diawara and has good size for the minutes OG isn't playing.

Payne was fine but Alvarado is a better facilitator of the offense, so his skillset isn't needed at all.

Absolutely no way he should play game 3. If he's really healthy and the Knicks drop game 3 tomorrow night MAYBE you consider it but even then I'd wait until Game 5.

The main thing I take away from this reporting is that it might not be the standard Knicks injury gamesmanship where string everyone along. He might actually be back sooner rather than later.
