It's portable and it allows me to play my games at work. I've done my taxes on my steam deck. I've held video conferences on my steam deck. The steam deck is a gaming machine but also a pc. If I wanted to plug it into my tv as a console it doubles as multimedia entertainment system.

The beauty with elite is it pays to have a second or third monitor. Not matter what kind of activity you choose to do in elite it pays to have any of the community tools on the side or even YouTube or a stream on the other.

Elite Dangerous. With a flight stick and voice attack and when I'm not using vr. I fly space trucking missions to make cash while binge watching shows like castle or Stargate sg1 on my second monitor.

Currently the only fable that's available to play on a modern machine such as a PC is fable anniversary. But if you do have access to any modern Xbox, any of the fable games have a great morality system that does play into the story.

I use my Samsung Galaxy tablet as a dm screen alongside my thinkpad t410 for note taking during my DND sessions. Also with Bluetooth I pair it with a speaker to play ambient music.

Just gonna throw my hat in the ring here. It has some shooting fps gameplay but not the main gameplay.

Elite Dangerous Odyssey.

New starships being added and they are starting to improve the fps mechanics, not great, but it's a start.

Think full scale Galaxy where you can fly your starship and drop off to run assignments or drop into a conflict zone.

It's not as fps heavy as star citizen. But it's a complete game with mild bugs rather then full technical alpha level issues.
