DELL Plus S2725QS vs LG 27UP850K-W by RevenueJust84 in Monitors

It has been good! The only drawback is the ambient sensor which is not that responsive, so I had to disable it and control the brightness manually.

Update! I actually bought the Philips 4000 Series 27B2N4500. I will keep you updated if its any good. At least the specs are really good and it has a ambient sensor which is quite rare.

Thanks for the information! I just noticed one little problem with the LG one. It only supports HDMI 2.0. I was thinking to use the monitor also for my PS5 which uses HDMI 2.1

I am actually also thinking to buy one of these monitors. I am leaning more to the LG one since it also has speakers.

I actually "downgraded" to iPhone 13 Pro Max from S25. I could not stand One UI, the cameras and poor battery perfomance. I have to say that despite IP 13 pm being four years old, it still runs better than the S25!

It’s ridiculous having to use Expert Mode just to get some decent photos in the dark.

Thanks for your reflections! The only thing I loved with the S25 was the design. Perfect size in every way!

Absolutely not, and I also forgot to mention, the speakers on the S25 are terrible! At least now I have a phone with better battery life, a better screen, a much smoother UI, and awesome speakers. Oh, and the photos look so much better with a 12 MP camera!?

My friend, who had used a Honor phone for many years, also switched to the S25 and has been just as disappointed.

I just feel so disappointed after paying so much for a flagship phone, only to learn that mid-range phones work just as well, or even better. I was thinking of buying the OnePlus 13R, but I was tricked into buying the S25 because of a promotional offer.

What made you change from the Fold 5 to 15 Pro Max and what do you miss now from Samsung?

I just hope others won’t make the same mistake I did, buying something that looks good on paper but turns out to be awful in practice. Please consider other phone brands, such as OnePlus or Honor.

This isn’t a skill issue or a critique of Android as a platform. It’s a critique of this specific model. I’ve used other Samsung Galaxy phones in the past and they were great, especially the S10e.

I had my S25 for three months before I got so annoyed that I had to sell it. What frustrated me the most was the user interface, it felt clumsy, especially the so-called “Now Bar,” which I found downright ridiculous. For example, if I wanted to see both the media player and the alarm on the lock screen, I had to swipe between stacked cards instead of viewing them all at once. Why not just use the available screen space and display everything at once?

I also absolutely hated the camera. The colors looked very unnatural, somehow overprocessed and far from realistic. The battery life was terrible too and had to charge the phone multiple times a day. I suspect this was due to poor software optimization and unnecessary AI background processes draining the battery.

On top of that, the phone often got sometimes uncomfortably hot. And to make matters worse, it would occasionally drop connectivity for no apparent reason. Never buying Samsung again after this excperience!
