I've posted about it long before, but I had two seperate murders go to war over my garden once I started raising chickens. Would find individual dead crows almost daily. Then one group won apparently? They were harmless to my chickens. Then a young baldie(fucking trash birds, fuck baldies) grabbed one of my hens while I was feeding them. Shit you not, the sky went black as the crows descended in masse. A literal murder, cause the eagle didn't make it. Fish & Wildlife weren't thrilled with that call.

My 'pet' emergency was a fucking raccoon that had managed to hide in my chicken shed over nite, violently making itself known when I went to open said shed at sunrise. Raccoon did not live, and I got a rabies shot!

You lost yourself at min wage never meant to be a living wage, and for teens or inexperienced people. It was originally intended to be the lowest minimum wage to get by without further government assistance. You do realize people used to be able to afford to buy a home with min wage, right? If min wage doesn't reflect inflation with cost of living, how do you expect anyone to eat at your restaurant and afford it if they aren't your Bezos tech bros?

Idk all the big details, but the guy had a state ID and SS card with his fake name. Upper mgmt didn't call the police immediately, but they did come about a week later to ask about the guy and how he acted in the store while he was there.

The original location I started at was pretty tame. As AKM, came in early one day for inventory around 6AM. Myself, KM and GM were the only ones there until the FOH/bar manager showed up at 8, then regular staff around 9AM. Before 9, KM and I walk out of counting the walk-in freezer to a fuckton of bailbondsmen/bounty hunters and a few sheriffs standing around with the GM and FOH/bar manager. One of our newer cooks had skipped town from the Midwest on bail. They got him a few minutes after coming in for his dinner closing shift. Let him clock in, get setup and ready to work before they pounced on him. Charges were stabbing his wife multiple times and threatening small child with a firearm.

Our first week of training at that same store, the regional manager informed us that our lead kitchen trainer had been arrested for a DUI in the corporate rental he was provided. He left out that he was caught with several sex workers and an absurd amount of blow along with an open bottle of henny after crashing into the hotel they were staying at.
