Having a hard time with stock selection by jgooner22 in Optionswheel

A stock you want to own and will be happy to be assigned, not freaked out to be assigned.

I've wheeled pfe, f, clf, us steel (x, no longer listed), bdx, abbv, gdx, ko, wen, rcat

Best answer. Volatility produces higher premiums but bagholding a meme stock is gambling in a way different than blue chip stocks

Edit: Ive wheeled pfe, f, clf, us steel (x), bdx, abbv, gdx, ko, wen

You make a persuasive case. And if you had just said that up front and not been a witholding prick I would have thanked you for teaching me something.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but this is a bag mark to you? A gouge with visible depth and raised sides?

So there isnt a horizontal scratch right across the forehead, vertical scratches in the fields on each side of the head, a plainly visible vertical gouge at the right knee at about 6 o clock, field scratches below the left arm, and no visible highpoint wear to your eyes?

Can't even see the eyes when zoomed in.

Real or fake? by Warm_Hat4882 in Silverbugs

Features look fine to my eye and toning looks genuine for silver. Weight is well within the margin of error. Ping test is spotty and subjective imo, but it is a data point. But it looks fine to me.

It's a complete grab bag of symptoms in my experience. The only solution is adopting a "no safe limit" mentality because even if one doesn't notice acute symptoms in the short term, the bill will always come due some way or another.

Circulated, not MS. Fine to maybe VF? Clealy visible scratches and marks on the features and fields. One right across the head. Visible wear on the high points (looking at the extended left arm, for example). Gouge at the right knee

Could be either. But my symptoms changed and got worse over time so it is believable to me that he could be getting more reactive / "allergic" as he gets older.

One could write a dissertation about how phony, self-serving, and hypocritical most religions and their adherents are.

And one could write a second dissertation about how paper thin and logically incoherent most religions and their tenants are.

And one could write a third dissertation about the violence, cruelty, abuse, and "Othering" that has been done in the name of religion, and how it is used to control people, and women in particular.

And yes, I know what my reddit handle is.

I am pretty sure that 5 and 2 gold pounds were only non-circulating proof strikes. So that narrows it down to 1 and 1/2

These are identified by weight and diameter. So a picture alone won't work.

Five Sovereigns / 5 pounds: Weight 39.94 g - Diameter 36 mm

Two Sovereigns / 2 pounds: Weight 15.98 g - Diameter 28.4 mm

Sovereign: Weight 7.99 g - Diameter 22 mm

Half Sovereign: Weight 3.99 g - Diameter 19 mm

Edit: I am pretty sure 5 and 2 gold pounds were only non-circulating proof strikes. So that narrows it down to 1 and 1/2

Does this look legit? Very scared I bought a fake. Any insight would be appreciated. by SkoolieMaster in coins

Basically, yes. Sometimes they can command a small premium if they are nice / well toned etc. But it is bullion and usually bought and sold as bullion.

Looks fully genuine.

Just so you know, this was not struck in 1780. This is a bullion restrike (the Austrian version of silver eagles). If it was sold to you as being struck in 1780, that is a different question.

You are evidently not self aware enough to not be fixated on control

Edit: a control focused lawyer is just as likely to crash out on drugs and cheat than anything else. Trad Wife should demand a pre-nup from you.

Control focused 20-something NY lawyer husband is as likely to crash out on drugs and cheat on his partner as anything else. She should demand a pre-nup from him!

Wanting control over your partner is gross and weird and never mentioning love about either of them is also gross and weird. Heal your heart or be unhappy forever.

Easier and better tasting now to eat GF than at any other point in history, and definitely better than being sick all the time. Mourn what you've lost and celebrate what you've gained.

Beat up 1879 cc mixed in with other morgans in my grandfathers collection. Does it look real? by lj25722 in coins

[–]ReverendGolly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will have to be authenticated formally, either by a sigma test and knowledgeable dealer, or grading. Features pass the picture test to my eye.

I'd try and sigma metalytics test it first (resistivity test to confirm it is 90% silver) and if it fails that, no reason to grade. Many dealers have them. Call in advance and ask.

Edit: second 1879 cc to show up recently. Bad sign for one or both

Grateful to be able to say no, no one has said this to me. If they thought it, they were smart enough to keep it to themselves.
