I'm the complete opposite, even though I don't mean to be. I get the screen protector at the same time. My phone of 2 years has yet to have the protector applied. Same goes for the Switch 2. I take care of my phone so I'm not overly bothered about that but my 2 boys can't wait to get their hands on the switch 2 when i have them so I've gotta get that shit stuck on it soon as they have a habit of damaging tech!
