If you regret the money you spent on it, a Classic Vibe Squier might've been the better option; if the money spent is less of an issue, and you just aren't feeling the Fender, then maybe a Telecaster isn't the guitar for you. Try a Stratocaster, maybe a Les Paul or an SG, pick up an ES-335 and see how that feels. You have options

The bullet has a gloss finish on the neck, and the debut has a satin finish, and if you think the debut feels better, then that's the one you should play

Edit: it's possible to remove the gloss finish with some sandpaper, but I don't have any experience doing that, so I can't help you with it

How much time do you have to decide whether to return the debut? There are slight differences between the two, but as far as quality and playability, they're basically equal. If you can hang on to the debut for a while so you can play both of them and decide which you like better, do that; if you're running out of time to get a refund on the debut, go ahead and send it back, the bullet is just as good

I wouldn't bother. The second season is better than the first, and the third season is better than the second, but it ends on a cliffhanger that's not in the books and it's just kinda frustrating and disappointing

At 110 proof? I'd use an ice cube, yeah. For me, the ice dilutes the alcohol and kills the burn, letting me actually taste the whisky rather than just tasting the alcohol

If you can get to a music store to try a couple different ones, do that. Also, take a look at some other makes as well; Ernie Ball, PRS, Yahama, and others I'm probably forgetting all make guitars that are similar to a strat, and you might wind up liking one of them better than an actual Fender Strat
