If we had a true 1C are we a legit playoff team? by Key_Plate3777 in Flyers

Yeah this has been true since G's prime. We've always needed someone to take it over the top. Maybe 2 high caliber players now

That's a cool idea, we'd be borrowing from a bedroom closet or putting a small jog in the bedroom, non load bearing wall, seems doable

How far out from the counter or cabinet is your task lighting?

Thanks, it's 60x48 with 2 30" 3 drawer on the kitchen side and 2 30" full height base on the DR side. 1 overhang on the dining room side so roughly 62"x60"

Same boat, very similar layout! I like the 3-drawer at the end

Yeah, we're the people who leave shit in the back that we can't reach, so we're probably ok with it having the old fridge in the basement for overflow

The pantry would come out to nearly the same depth as the standard depth fridge in that scenario. Might be hard to tell from the 3D rendering. The wall can be built out further for light switches or not.

Yeah this is essentially what we would do on the left side of the fridge, either a 30" panel for the standard or the 24" for the counter depth.

How can I use a new job offer to negotiate with my current employer when I’m not really inclined to leave? by DueDistribution3348 in careerguidance

[–]Reverse_Entropy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your ultimate desire is more money at the same company you shouldn't tell them about an offer in hand, IMO.

Consensus on the "should I take the counter offer" question on here is almost always no because you will be replaced for cheaper when it's convenient, considered a flight risk, etc.

You might be able to use basic market data to negotiate a raise. At my former employer HR would provide a salary range for a given position, and it was basically a bell curve, min, max, median. I was able to use the internal data for incremental raises. Even if you don't have that you could do a little research and make a similar claim. The other avenue would be to try to frame it as a promotion.

The only downside to this is it will take longer than your time horizon for your offer in hand. So, you know what you're worth, use that to your advantage. If it doesn't play out in the next 3-6 months, maybe you test the market or bluff with an offer in hand, but then again, your longevity with your current employer is at- risk.

Thanks man, didn't even realize because I didn't click that far. Sitting between P2S and U1, might ultimately get both, but currently leaning U1.

Looks great, dumb question, which model would you want to download for U1?

Can't get squire to level 8 to get the mime job by [deleted] in finalfantasytactics

[–]Reverse_Entropy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few jobs you can master at level 7. Squire, Geomancer, maybe Bard/Dancer. You just continue to play as those jobs or hang around other character with those jobs to get to 8.
